Really difficult to get to hotel. Can only approach from the North, and city centre is a maze of one way streets, no left/right turns, bus lanes, no entry except to buses etc. Finally found car park to be told by hotel, "No spaces except for pre-booked" even though hotel was less than half full. Hotel sends pre-arrival welcome email but fails to mention dire car-parking and the need to pre-book. Will not stay again.

I booked the room. I was very happy with the photos of the room and the price. On arrival the superior room they gave me was horrible, it was tiny. I went reception, showed the photos and he told me the two did not tally. But he upgraded us to the Executive room which was the photos shown. The room was lovely. Amazing size and very comfortable.

Rob on the front desk was as friendly and welcoming as ever and the rest of the team we interacted with were equally wonderful - from the bar staff through to the maintenance man I shared a lift with when checking out. staffs were wonderful. BUT the room can be more guest friendly Full control of lighting only from one bedside(twin room). No response on intercom when first arrived at the parking gate,necessary to open the roller gate. No response from "operator, receptionist" or any human contact when dialling from the bedroom phone, when further information is needed apart from the QR codes. bathroom Sanitary plastic bag holder empty. provision of slippers would be appreciated.
