Always a pleasure staying at the Beeches hotel. Your Greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and tidy. I do recommend the king or queen rooms rather than the single and doubles. They are a upgrade and worth it. The gym and pool/sauna are a lovely relaxing treat. The breakfast buffet is worth it. Fills you up for the day. Free parking included. A new surprise from other stays was the location of the hotel, hidden behind the main road estate is a beauiful river and park that provides an relaxing walk away from the busy road. I will continue using beeches as my go to 2nd home when staying in that part of the country. Thanks

A great hotel

We’ve stayed here before and loved it so much we came back. Great hotel and facilities. Excellent service and location. It was a hot day so air conditioning in the room would have made it perfect, but we still had a really nice stay.

Two night stay

Easy to check in & out, reception very friendly & helpful. Easy to sign in & use the gym, pool & hot tub although the temperature in the pool & hot tub were too cold for me. Room ok, bed comfy, as described. A lot of noise from next door banging I assume cupboards & people coming past in the hallway. Got woken by a family passing by with children early. Shower nice & hot. They do have notices everywhere to warn of hot water. Didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment.

The menu was varied both at breakfast and in the evening. Well stocked bar. The room was very hot, even with the provided fan but the bed was comfortable. Kept having to log back in on the internet, which elderly relatives found very tiresome. It would have been useful to have more written information, such as a selection of tourist brochures.

Was well priced and convenient for our needs. But a few things did annoy me: -no hooks in bathroom for hanging towels on -bathroom was not cleaned one of the days yet we received new towels and bedroom was cleaned -one of the replacement mugs was dirty -bin collection at 6am was not appreciated as our room was above the bin area at the back of the hotel -room 38 was interesting, classed as floor 1 yet in the attic and such a crazy route to get there invoving going up a few stairs, then going down a few stairs and then going up some more stairs to a landing with 3 rooms off it. Was tricky negotiating the route with a large suitcase

Not for the summer days!

The pool and gym are nice and the location also very good. The room was very hot, no air conditioning, bathroom smells cigarette and very tiny. The shower cubicle is so tiny you can barely move. The staff is good and tries to sort the problems and offered free breakfast (which is also nothing special) but I would rather have a better room and pay for my breakfast!
