AVOID
We had one of the worst experiences. We booked a four bedroom, two bath apartment, paid for it and received confirmation. Few days before our stay we were told it was not available and in a typical bait and switch we were offered a shared apartment (two bedroom with a private bath). As we were already out of USA and on our vacation in Panama, I was hesitant to cancel, get a refund and find and book a new place, especially when I was not in home country. when i accepted the two bedroom shared apartment, I was not offered any incentive to switch even though it was a downgrade of accomodation. When we actually arrived at the apartment, there were no two bedrooms or a private bath. We were provided with a 12X12 kids room with two twin beds, a bathroom that was shared. The apartment besides us was shared by an exchange student and the host family. Nothing in the apartment was upgraded for at least a decade. That includes everything, utensils, appliances probably even bed coverings. When we requested a second bedroom as promised, we were told we are only two people, why do we need two rooms!!!!!When we requested, we would like to leave early, can they provide refund for days not utilized-Answer was No. We left early anyway. So many issues...it will make it a short story.
The worst, after using the toilet, you can not flush the toilet tissue, you are supposed to put the soiled tissue in a bin next to the toilet......How Gross and unhygenic!!!!!
Host couple was very nice though
