Omg.... where does one start!
Check-In - waited 15 minutes whilst being 2nd in line. Just the one staff member checking guests in. At one point there was four other staff members behind the checkin desk all staring at me. Still had to wait. Another guest behind me became vocal with the situation. Made no difference even though all the staff looked directly at her.
1 lift not working. Lined up again.
Was residing in a 'suite' ($600+ p/night)...... view - a rooftop full of rubbish. Old stickers on the windows. Two tiny towels and a broken toilet. Stained couch and no bottles of water.
Rang reception to get some towels delivered.
Headed to the exec lounge. Possibly worst lounge in melbourne. Every couch unclean and stained. Wine selection was poor quality and the canape's possibly were straight from the frozen section at coles. Staff were friendly but left promptly.
Returned from our evening out to a room with still no towels. Rang reception again. Towels delivered 20 mins later. Look like d
they had come out of a homeless shelter. Told the staff member to keep her towels.
Rang reception for some bottled water. Was advised there was a filtered system on my floor. Got dressed and Traversed to the other side of level 4. Water system out of order. Rang reception....was told "drink water out of my bathroom tap".
Asked to speak to the manager. Told "no".
Called the hyatt down the road, advised them of my situation and they booked us a suite. Immediately pacmed and checked out
