Handy location close to Queenstown, but the access is slightly difficult.
The hosts were very welcoming without being too intrusive.
One problem is that the bathroom is downstairs, whereas the double bed is upstairs.
A lovely touch is the outdoor hot tub overlooking the Shotover river, so you can watch the jet boats go by.

Two nights in heaven
We arrived when it was dark and already were surprised for how nice it was at the inside (Spa-bath, two levels, kitchen, good wifi etc.), but when we looked outside in the morning we were stunned. The property overlooks the river going into the Waikatipu lake and it was just a gorgeous view. Also we hadn't realized that we had a whole Teahouse for ourselves. Our hosts were great and we had everything they needed. They made sure everything was perfectly clean and you could see that they had their heart in it. We also were welcomed by three little, cute dogs, that would just be friendly and sweet to us. Even tough we did not book breakfast with our stay our host invited us to have breakfast together with them and another young couple, who was staying at the Trelawn Place. All in al it was just a lovely stay there and I would tell anyone to go and stay there if they get to Queenstown.

Fantastic!
Kind welcoming owners of this little gem of a place. Self catering little cottage, furnished as a proper home, in the middle of a gorgeous flowery garden, overlooking the valley and the Shotover river. Stunning view, great stay.
