After booking I realised was a pet friendly hotel so asked in advance for a pet free room. On arrival they said they deep cleaned the room however it still smelt like dog. Could’ve been the carpet cleaner? I didn’t see any pet hair which was good and it didn’t set off allergies luckily. Bed was comfy enough however there was silverfish in there! Bathroom was dirty. Hair and rubbish left on floor. Lots of dust along the carpet and skirting boards. The hotel is really outdated. The carpet in some common areas old and lifting. An old opened milk was left in the fridge obviously not checked. Ok place to stay but too expensive for what it is. Staff were kind and tried to help but I felt bad for raising my concerns as they couldn’t help. Breakfast items were good however as a plant based diet was really only toast cereal and beans. I decided to pay for a ‘real’ coffee and they ran out of oat milk and heated up what was left in the jug which made it way too hot to drink. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again based on my experience but again should be a budget option for somewhere safe to stay. Great location though for cafe and restaurants. Also has bowling if that’s something you’re into.

The room wasn't ready when we arrived and the bathroom was filthy with soap scum and mould, on the second day our room wasn't made up and there was no fresh towels. We decided to not stay on our second night and found a much nicer facility for less per night. The general condition of the building is very run down with saggy, ripped and stained carpets and on the inside is rough it also had grass growing out of the spouting, for over $300 a night I would expect far more and sadly this hotel looks and runs like its at the end of its life, the plus side is the food was good and the Staff are lovely

While when we went for check in around 2: 30, villa hasent ready as did mentioned after 2 pm check in time. Bit furniture was dusty, poor cleaning standards.

Stayed there during summer, so maybe it would have been a more handy location during snow/ski season. Short drive to Queenstown centre and shops. Breakfast had all the essentials but practically same choices every morning, except Christmas they had some extra desserts. No lifts, like in a few places around NZ, so you have to carry up your own luggage, especially after already dragging them through the gravel carpark. But parking was free and it's Queenstown area so you're mostly out anyways.

The property is dated and facilities need upgrading. The bathroom had mould and shower curtain was not clean. The restaurant was poor and options for breakfast not attractive. Overall the property does not offer value for the money charged.

The staff were unfriendly and not well presented. The breakfast room staff didn't wear uniform and were hard to tell apart from the guests. One breakfast staff member even had holes in her jumper. The hotel was unclean, and the carpets were worn and stained. The whole place was very outdated and needed cleaning and modernising. When we checked out, the girl on reception was totally disinterested. All she said was 'room number ' nothing else. Also, the breakfast room was shared with the bowling alley. After being out all day on Wednesday, room service knocked on our door at 4.40pm. It was too late by then so we didn't get our room cleaned. One of the worst places we've stayed
