Positives:Front desk personnel were nice and helpful. The kitchenette had dishes, silverware and pots/pans. Electric fireplace was a nice touch, but only the light worked. Room was reasonably clean. Cons: Door frame appeared to have been kicked in and the room key did not work for the deadbolt. The motel is split into two areas, the one we stayed in ,was across a somewhat busy road, no ice machine for those rooms, and per the front desk lady , there was suppose to be a cooler with ice in the laundry room ( there wasn't any cooler) . The free breakfast they advertised is a paper bag with a granola bar ,fruit and ? , plus coffee. Breakfast hours were from 8am to 10am . One set of stair railings were wobbly. Unfortunately, no elevator. I understand this is a 2 star motel, and I chose this place over the high reviews. I'm wondering if those reviewers stayed in the main motel side and not the side we stayed in.

We stayed here for my husband to run Whiskey Basin and it was really perfect! The staff was so friendly and the room was super spacious. A really great deal for the price.

We booked one of the cottages so we could be on the ground floor due to having our dog. When we arrived we told we were in the adjacent building and we were upstairs. The breakfast provided was a joke! A granola bar and an apple and orange. There was not even coffee. The pot was empty by 8 am. It felt like a bait and switch and I will never stay at Sierra Inn in Prescott again!

clean and friendly

The room was incredibly clean and well stocked with toiletries. The staff was very nice and the place is so dog friendly. We'll definitely be making this our regular stay for all future prescott trips

Have always chosen to stay here and never had a problem. They updated the rooms a few years back and I’d say it’s pretty good still. The only upgrade I’d recommend is the mattresses. Mine was very painful to sleep on but my husbands mattress was a little bit softer. Even just a mattress topper would have been nice. Otherwise, our stay was as perfect as ever.

Two small complaints about my room #47 on April 12/13, 2025. The bathroom light over the toilet was burned out - meaning that that area could only be used with the door wide open to let in light from the window next to the sink. So, a lack of privacy! And the entry doorknob was very difficult to get the key to open it. I had to jiggle with it for a long couple of minutes to get it to work. Other than that, nice property. But please fix these two issues for future guests in that room.

Decent pit stop but not cushy

We were staying for my daughter’s soccer tournament, just one night. Staff is super friendly and the grab and go breakfast was great since we had to get up and go early. The room was comfortable but the shower was super janky - terrible shower head and faucet was hard to use / turn. Lots of janky details like holes in the curtain and daylight coming in around the AC unit.
