Clean and spacious room, but not 4 star service. Complimentary water is only on the first night, no staff to bring luggage to the room, and additional charge for room service (not included in price for food). Location is great - walking distance to the centre and close to transport links. Staff were professional. Be sure to confirm at check in if its twin beds or double bed, as the hotel automatically assign it based on availability regardless of request at booking. Not quite 4* but nice accommodation nonetheless.

Room was excellent and location was good, but service was a little slow. When requested for fresh towels, we waited over an hour and then had to go pick them up at the reception. Was asked to go to the reception and fill out a form to borrow a steamer, which was a bit inconvenient and unnecessary.

It was a clean property. I didn’t use much of the amenities as I was just there to sleep. But I was given a room right next to the elevator so it did keep me up at night sometimes. The staff wasn’t overly friendly, just did their job it seemed. It’s about a one mile walk to the areas you’d like to be-Nothing much nearby.

Location of the Hotel was OK, Rooms are comfortable, but 2 night out of 4 during our stay AC didnt work in the entire Hotel and they didnt call for emergency repairs. Also big construction is going on directly across from the Hotel, so we couldn't use our balcony due to constant noise. I wish they notify clients before booking.

The hotel was very nice, we liked that it was very close to main attractions, we love to walk a lot, so walking took us about 10-20 minutes to the attractions. We loved Porto. The city was very clean, I was very impressed. People very friendly. There is a grocery store near by as well. I will definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again

The room we were given at this hotel was fantastic. We had a superior twin. It had a large balcony with seating which we used quite a bit. However I am not sure all the rooms have this facility. Great size bedroom and bathroom. Room has a kettle and coffee maker, fridge. Cleaned well daily. Everything about the room was perfect, 5 stars. The location is a little further out, we were only there for 3 days and it took us a while to get our bearings on how to get where. There are some good restaurants and a supermarket 10 minute walk from this hotel. There are building works going on opposite the hotel, which didn't worry us but our room was at the side of the hotel, so I don't know how it would be for the rooms at the front. The work does only go on during the day and you would generally be out during the day. The only negative for us was the breakfast which was not of a good standard. The hot buffet was cold and poor quality. In fact we left everything on our plates. I opened a pot of jam to be faced with mould which is extremely off putting. We had a few issues which we fed back to Expedia and they have been quite helpful with this. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel is spot on and it is the one thing if they work on it , could improve. I would most definitely stay again but I wouldn't book it with breakfast next time.
