It is a pricy property but the condition of the room or the service were not meeting the expectation at all. The carpet is stained everywhere, the one of the card keys were not working, there were only one of each off shampoo and conditioner that only could use for a person even we stays two night with three of us, the Keurig machine doesn’t work and they didn’t provide the cleaning service even though we didn’t present Do not disturb sign. It was pretty disappointing.

The Harraseeket Inn was a beautiful place to stay. I will return. It was quaint, with a drawing room and hours for morning coffee and afternoon tea. It is the kind of place where you can get drawn in to an unexpected but delightful conversation with another guest over a cup of coffee. There was a fire pit outside and the hotel provided the makings for s’mores.

The check-in process was efficient, and the staff was polite and personable. The rooms we stayed in (we stayed two separate times over the course of a week) were clean and well-appointed. The beds and pillows were not the most comfortable, but everyone has their own preferences. The complementary breakfast was better on the weekend (eggs, bacon, etc.) than it was during the week (muesli, dry muffins). The rear courtyard is beautiful and well-maintained. The hotel has a fun fire-pit area out front that's nice on cool nights, and their afternoon teas are a treat. The best part of this quaint hotel was its location, as it is within walking distance of restaurants, a drug store, shopping, etc. We would certainly recommend the Harraseeket to others.

This Inn was really the highlight of our trip to New England. It was an unexpected gem. I loved how clean and comfortable it was, and it had a very peaceful atmosphere. I loved that they had a complimentary breakfast, though I would have preferred if there were better protein options on the complimentary portion. There was a pleasant fire pit outside and the inn offers s'mores which was just the icing on the cake. They also have a happy hour with tea and light hors d'oeuvres and have a very comfortable sitting room area with a fire place. The landscaping and gardening were beautiful and I wish I had more time to spend outside. I would love to come back and spend an entire week staying here and exploring the Maine coast.
