Nice for a quick stopover in Portland

We had a stop on our drive home from bar harbor back to nj. It was a nice affordable option near Portland we could stay there and less than 20 min to drive downtown. Check in was fast and friendly, hotel seems kinda dated style wise but it made it more charming since it was dated but still clean and cared for.

Right off highway 10 mins to downtown portland. Free jimmy dean sandwiches and snacks for breakfast. Small hot tub 2 pools meh fitness center clean new looking rooms. Some hallways seem a bit dated. For price cant beat it. Def would return.

Average and a bit overpriced for what you get

Overall this place is average, outdated but clean. The staff was very loud in morning, and the rooms not very soundproof. I was very disappointed that I was told the hot tub was available, then when I went to use it was closes for "maintenance". A manager told me that the chemicals were off and needed to be adjusted. This seems like something that should be done before business hours.

Staff were helpful and courteous. Facilities were clean, well maintained. Room was clean and surrounding noise, both hallway and rooms next to us, was non existent. The inn is right next to the highway (convenient) but once inside you could not hear the traffic. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room and common areas were clean and inviting. For the price of the stay, I feel the breakfast could have been more robust. The microwaved breakfast sandwich was actually pretty good but feel breakfast bars and canned peaches was a bit lacking. Only one kind of tea available. My expectations were a little higher based on the cost of the room.
