Under renovation

Pros: Spacious and well equipped . Quiet
Cons: new carpet, car ports, front door access
Location: Walk to shops, water, park, restaurants and club.
Our two bedroom ground floor apartment was spacious and well equipped but very tired. We were disappointed, especially when informed by the manager, that we could have had one of the newly renovated apartments had we booked direct with Bay Breeze instead of online. Not happy Wotif. No undercover car parking also saw our car damaged in a hail storm.

Spacious townhouse.

Townhouse was nice. No milk given on checking in, tea, coffee and sugar in rooms though. Leather lounge quite worn out and looked tacky. Swimming pool and spa were nice. No restaurant or cafe on premises. Close distance to beach.

Excellent location. Close to all facilities

The bed was old and deodorized but smelled the last two nights of a five night stay as the deodorizer wore off. Even though the units were non smoking we could not experience the sea breeze because too many were smoking just outside their units. The staff were friendly and helpful but the units need a better clean. Even so we hope to be back there next year.

Roomy townhouse style apartment

Pros: spaciousness and within a short drive of supermarkets, town centre and marina area.. 15 - 20 minute walk to town.
Cons: overall presentation.
Location: Pay parking in town and on foreshore.Inner Light tearooms , good food,good views. Visit ti Fighterworld and Hunter Valley Gardens very worthwhile.,
The accommodation had lots of space but needed upgrading. Had trouble with the shower. thus potential for someone being burned as it was very difficult to adjust temperature. Mentioned this on leaving and lady in reception said she would get the plumber in.Bathroom door did not close fully and lady said they would attend to it. A good clean of furnishings and floors and a coat of paint would raise the overall rating to 5.

Nice place

Good clean hotel, stayed in 2 room apartment, big, comfortable. One room had ensuite. Can recommend.

Close and convenient

Pros: Clean and staff were very friendly and interested The apartment was large, with plenty of room for a family of five without feeling cluttered.
Cons: Just a few little maintenance fixes needed - but onthe whole they were not big things. eg step to pool area was loose, light bulb in stairwell blown.
Location: Good walking paths and close to eateries and the town centre.
A very comfortable and well equipped apartment. It was close to Nelson Bay shops and marina and within walking distance to eateries.
