The room looked dirty, everything was old and outdated, very small bed with only two pillows, breakfast much less available than advertised. Staff were very nice and helpful when checking in.

I’m sorry but this place is really gross. The rooms are old, dingy, not well cleaned, broken cabinets, stained carpet, the counter is coming off, there are broken pieces on the tables and although the staff up front is friendly they are a little bit rude with their policies.. this isn’t like a hotel with service.. it’s a run down apt complex and they treat you like you’re stealing from them when you extend your reservation online (which doesn’t let you pay online). My room was barged in on while I was sleeping by front desk people, maids. They just open the door! I was in the bathroom once, and they walk in like it’s fine. This place is just a mess I don’t think if you want a hotel experience or spend time in old town there are so many other options.

When I got there, the first room they gave me already had someone in it when I walked in, and it was a good thing they were there because the key actually unlocked their door. The hot water didn't work in the shower for all three days I was there. The bathroom sink was broken, so I had to use the kitchen sink to brush my teeth. On the plus side, the bed wasn't that bad, and the blackout curtains worked well.

Late check in was met with annoyance. I buzzed in she told me there were no rooms. I told her I had a reservation. Five minutes later after waiting outside in the cold she let me in and proceeded to tell me I didn't have a reservation. She looked further and found it and then took 15 minutes to check me in.

I’m not sure where to begin, the sink didn’t work, the shower didn’t either or ever get warm water. There was mold in the shower, stains on almost every counter in the bathroom and room. The bed comforters were both dirty. I couldn’t get another room and I had a two night stay, I slept for 6 hour and left the next morning and got another hotel room. It’s more of a beat of motel it’s not worth the money. I’m not sure I ever had a worse motel experience for $150+ a night that could be a $39 motel

The kitchen was not equipped, what I had when I got there was, skillet, pan, 2 dishes, 3 forks, 1 spoon, 2 knives. What I did not have: glasses, coffee pot, toaster, cooking utensils, dish cloth, detergent. No hairdryer. Tub had no hand rail or non skid surface. Room was clean.

Staff was AMAZING. They went above and beyond for us. Room was not well cleaned, basic supplies were not provided, bed was uncomfortable, pillows were of poor quality.

At check in they required both my ID and my wife’s. The photographed the front and back of our IDs. When we go to our room we found housekeeping left three huge bags of garage piled in front of our door that we had to live to get inside. The garbage was still there two hour later. The water was shut off when we arrived, which they did not mention at check-in. We had no water and could not get ready for our night out. I called Extended Stay’s corporate customer service and it was a call center in India. They did nothing for us and had no record of my first calls when I called back. I could have stayed at the Hilton for the same price, big mistake.

Avoid this Extended Stay unless you want to spend a night at the Old Bates motel from the movie Psycho.. gives you a feeling of a rusty 70s road side motel.. the only positive thing about our stay was that the location is really close to Fashion Square.. Lady at the front desk while checking in was really friendly though.
