My bed was full of bed bugs. I have about 15 bites all over my body. I went to the front desk to ask for a different room and was asked how did I know I didn’t bring them. I showed the front desk a video of live bugs crawling. I requested a different room and wanted to check the room before accepting. He was belligerent and rude while I was checking. I asked for a manager and he threw the card in my face and yelling that the hotel is full and nothing he can do. When he gave me the new keys to the room he tossed them at my face. He was putting his hands in my face as well. Horrible experience.

When we got to the room the TV and microwave stopped working, so we called the front desk for maintenance. The issue was that an outlet extender behind the furniture came loose, cutting off power to the appliances. As we looked around we saw a second tangle of electrical wires leading to another outlet, which left us feeling unsafe in the 4th floor room. Gerry-rigged wiring and overloaded outlets in a hotel is a fire hazard. I will never stay in another Holiday Inn.

The room was terrible. They advertise that renovations were done but this room must have been the exception. There is supposed to be a thermostat on the wall but it was pulled off. There was a unit near the window that took forever to heat up-it was blowing cool air-I had to turn the temperature up to 85 degrees to get the room to a comfortable temperature. The closet had an unfinished spackled wall where they must have started a repair and didn’t finish. In the bathroom, there was a hole in the wall from doorknob. Lastly, the phone was not working at all. I had to go down to the front desk to ask for help. The worker was going to change my room. After an hour of waiting, I surrendered and decided to just go to sleep. I will not bring my family here again.

I enjoyed everything about this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. Two coffee machines in the lobby open 24/7 was a nice touch. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was tasty and hot. The price was good too.
