The B&B and owners were welcoming. Delicious ginger cake waiting for us. We didn't realise it was a vegetarian breakfast. Absolutely fine but we missed our traditional breakfast.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast delivered to our room was delicious. The private parking lot was much appreciated. We are vegetarian so the attraction was immediate.

This is an exceptional find near the centre of Penrith. A spacious and comfortable guest house, great value, a short walk from the centre of town, with private parking, excellent service and a variety of delicious breakfast choices. Mark and Paula are lovely people and excellent hosts, kind and considerate, and very attentive to the needs of guests. Many thanks to them for a top quality B&B experience.

A great location and a very comfortable property with proprietors that were amazingly accommodating. Fingers crossed you get some warm cookies upon arrival and the breakfast is spot on even if you are not a vegetarian.

Overnight stay and arrived quite late. Hosts very welcoming and went out of their way to find out information to help me on my journey. Also brought breakfast early so I could catch early bus comfortably. Short but nice stay - and thank you for home-cooked cookies!

Mark was very accommodating and my room was really big and comfortable Water pressure very good for having a shower I only stayed 1 night but I know the area very well and the guest house is a short walk from most places in town but quiet and peaceful guest house location Penrith is a beautiful picture postcard town and very handy base for traveling to the Lake District I will certainly be booking again I didn’t stay for breakfast but the menu look delicious
