Generally a bit tired (rooms/lift/layout).

Pros: Pool area and gym. Location and view of ocean.
Cons: More restaurant capacity for when hotel is busy. Breakfast is not pleasant - lack of tables and very crowded and busy. More lift capacity.
Restaurant appears too small to cater for all guests. Couldn't get a table most mornings. Poor layout and insufficient tables outside too. Same problem with lifts - slow and struggling with the traffic - should be 4 lifts, not 2. Plus no stairway option even though not many floors.

Nope

Check in was hectic, with people everywhere in the lobby and not nearly enough staff on the front desk. When we got to our room we thought there had been a mistake and they had put us in an unmade room, because the bed wasn't made and the bathroom wasn't done. But, after calling downstairs, we were informed that this was because they had run out of linen and towels and that the room would be finished around 8pm that night - this was the case for each of the 3 nights we were there. The bathroom would flood after each shower. Not jus a little either; a proper flooding. And the hallways smell of cigarette smoke. It's certainly not in the best location for getting into Georgetown, though it is meters away from the beach and was close to the even we were attending. Unfortunately, you do have to travel to see anything as the area around the hotel is mostly construction at the moment. My advice; don't be fooled by the Sheraton attached to the name - stay somewhere else!

Pros: Sea view room and size of room.
Cons: Food choice and quality, my wife was sick all night after eating reheated Pasta dish. Often menu did not have the dish available. beef redang tough.
Location: Good views, as seen from seaview room
Facilities: Unpretentious; Value: Acceptable price; Service: Helpful; Cleanliness: Pleasant; Tesco 10 minute walk away. Free shuttle service was very good, driver very helpful.
