It was really nice stay. I was there for 5 days. The only problem what that my door wouldn't stay closed and locked. The metal plate inside the door frame was loose, and moved about an inch both ways. I used the upper fold lock and put the chair against the door. My son went to b the front desk and requested it be fixed . It was fixed the day. Very happy with the quick service.

Property outside and in main lobby were very clean. The room we were assigned to was dirty, the light switches were cracked and breaking. As well as a crack down the wall in the corner. We were also in a joined room with our neighbors and could hear all of the noises they were making. We could also clearly hear their conversation.

Property was under construction.The rooms were freshly done but no coffee pot In room and the beds were on rollers and did not stay solid and moved on the floor.

Good place for sleep, not for dining.

The room was clean and comfortable, and I was in wing 3, which was very quiet, so I slept well. Housekeeping was very late on Friday (around 3:30 PM) and not very thorough, but they were great on Saturday. The rating is based on the food service experience. Thursday night I ordered a chicken club sandwich at the bar, and received a chicken burger, which was not great. I didn't eat at the hotel Friday, but our banquet on Saturday was a disaster. The banquet room was free by 4 PM, but the tables hadn't been fully set until after we were seated at 5:45. Salad was rusty, salad served before dressing, rolls served and eaten after salad, but before butter was provided. Our group got fed up with the delay and many got up and bussed the tables. Dinner was served between 7 and 8:30, and the vegetarian option ran out so they used a poor substitute. Dessert was just put into takeout boxes because everyone was fed up. I know you've already heard about this, and I understand they had a worker issue, but the manager should have been working on this problem during the 30 days after the employee walkout, not making excuses during our banquet, which had been booked over a YEAR in advance.

Room was nasty. Fridge was out of cabinet, obviously something wrong with it… it was barely cold. Rooms was VERY HOT, note on wall to adjust temp. Didn’t work. Slept w window open in January and room was still at 70. My dog was dying of heat! In bathroom, tile missing off wall. Carpet in hallway and elevator was dirty with stains. Called and asked to move rooms… supposedly none available…. Thankfully only 1 night stay. Will never stay at a Red Lion again. Thought they were a good hotel chain in the past. Not now! Oh and when getting into bed… the bed would roll away!

I have stayed at Red Lion since mid 80’s. Sadly this hotel does not meet the standard I have come to expect. The bed, linens were uncomfortable.

Elevator was gross and had a funny smell. Room was overall nice but cleaning was lacking. We left trash under the chair to see how well the room was cleaned and it was there when we came back but all trash cans were emptied. Employees were not very friendly. Only friendly employee we encountered was a wonderful bartender during the dart tournament. I do not remember her name but she is the only employee who actually knew how to make drinks besides the easily one's. The employee was the only one who could make a lawnmower. She is the only reason the stars were what they were.
