Wow! Outstanding stay for a reasonable price.

To be honest I’m kind of embarrassed from some of my other 5-star ratings because this was demonstrably better than those. This is a really cool place, and the room was exceptionally clean. The linens smelled so fresh! The art deco vibe was cool, and the room was very functional, although as mentioned in another review there are no nightstands on the side of the bed, just kind of a bolted on metal plate. However there were numerous places for storage, and although my room was described as a “micro”, it was more spacious than a regular hotel room. The staff was helpful, and I was able to ride one of their loaner bikes around Whitman College. Lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance, as well as other shops. There’s a wine bar kind of service in the hotel in the evening, and although I didn’t partake, others appeared to enjoy it. Also lots of neat spaces outside for sitting, including an outdoor fireplace.

Amazing retro property. Spacious rooms nicely decorated, wine tasting at check in and a great reception for our dog, blanket, ball and water dish to take home. Fun stuff at reception and great coffee in the morning. We’ll be back.

The Finch continues to be a fantastic lodging option in downtown Walla Walla! The property is well-maintained and has many areas for outside lounging/games. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to everthing from downtown wineries and restaurants to Whitman College. We thoroughly enjoyed are 3 nights!

I can't even begin to express what an amazing place this is. Book it now! Almost out of the downtown so you have the peace of being in a neighborhood but you're also a 2 minute walk to some of the best restaurants and tasting rooms. Super chic decor, outdoor game area to unwind with friends, and amazing staff! The kind fellow that checked us in was able to recommend several places nearby that exceeded everything we were looking for. There's also a grocery store and gas station right across the street. Not sure what else you could ask for!

The property was very nice, and clean. The rooms were large, clean, and fun. The property is located right next to downtown, with great restaurants, and a grocery store is right across the street. I would highly recommend.
