We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel, the area is very clean and nice. There’s a lot of stores near the hotel including food and clothing. Transportation was also very accessible the metro was a 8-10 min walk. And the eiffel tower was also a walking distance away. The staff were very nice and the hotel was very peaceful.

Overall, our stay was okay, but it didn’t really feel like a 4-star hotel experience. The ground and first-floor reception areas were welcoming and nicely presented. Unfortunately, the room had a very unpleasant odour, which made the stay less comfortable. On a positive note, the location is good – it’s around a 20-minute straightforward walk to the Eiffel Tower, even with kids. One suggestion: during the live breakfast cooking, please use separate pans for bacon and vegetarian options. Seeing both cooked in the same pan really put us off.

We had booked the hotel for a family with a 7 year old child and were expecting a spare bed made-up but all we got was a large bed with a sofa that could have possibly been made into a bed but no bedding. The breakfast queues were extremely long and the wait to get fresh eggs was even longer. The location of the property is great as you are about a 20 min walk from the Eiffel Tower. There are tons of shops and restaurants in close vicinity.

The staff are lovely and helpful, buffet is overpriced but the food and drink in the bar are excellent. The shower leaked in both rooms we booked, there are insufficient plug sockets in the rooms. The hotel is in an excellent location and while the public rooms look smart and welcoming, the rooms seem shabby, with ill-fitting doors and tired decor.

Really good. A few minor niggles

Nice hotel. Great location. Fantastic view over the Seine. The room was a little tired though. However not tired enough to be off putting. Breakfast was good, but we had to queue a few times, just to get in.

The view from our rooms was just beautiful!!! This is a 20 minutes from the Eiffel Tower and you can see from the rooms depending on the side of the property your room is located. Just accross the Eiffel Tower is the departure point for the seine river cruise. The evening/ night ride is the best. We had the day view of the city at departure and upon return it was night!

Disappointing Stay Despite Prime Location

The hotel’s proximity to the tower and the friendliness of the staff were the only redeeming features of our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short of expectations. The property itself is noticeably dated and in need of renovation. Breakfast was chaotic—poorly organised and almost comical in its execution. The quality and selection were disappointing (3/10), with miniature hotdog-style sausages and bacon floating in oily water. If you do attempt breakfast, go early; the staff struggled to keep up with replenishments. Our room was booked as a family room with two singles and a double, but we were given a double bed and a sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable—especially for our teenage son and daughter. Reception informed us there were no alternatives, and the only option offered was a second room at an additional €187. We had no choice but to make do. A word of caution regarding the shop on level 2: it’s not operated by Novotel. It pre-authorises €50 to unlock the fridge and supposedly tracks what you take. However, even briefly touching an item adds it to your basket, and there’s no way to remove it. When I approached reception for a refund, I was redirected to the restaurant, where I was simply handed an email address. To avoid further hassle, I accepted the unwanted items.
