Fantastic hotel near Arc De Triomphe

Since the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Flo. He is an amazing receptionist and the ideal ambassador for Hotel Maison Elle. He gave us a history of the hotel, and provided recommendations for restaurants, cafes and breakfast. The rooms are a bit compact. If you are used to big rooms, this is not the one. But, it was sufficient for our needs. The bathroom was quite large. This is a boutique hotel, and very close to the Arc De Triomphe and the Champ Ellysee. Every thing is walking distance. The Charles de Gaulle station is only 5 minutes walk. Room temperature is perfect and adjustable. Shower pressure is good. We had the queen bed. The lighting in the room takes a bit of learning to use. The chef bakes a cake a daily and you can help yourself to a slice. We didn't try the breakfast, but I believe its only 22 Euros per person. We asked Flo for dinner ideas and he recommended a wonderful place in central Paris. Lou, the other receptionist was very friendly and extremely helpful. Flo and Lou really made our visit to Paris very memorable and enjoyable. We will stay in this hotel again in a heartbeat.

Nice hotel

The hotel was clean, cosy and chic. The rooms are not soundproof as the hotel suggests. The staff whilst pleasant were unable to help us with directions, were unaware that the metro line would be closed on VE Day and failed to offer us any help when we were leaving the venue on check out. There were also hidden charges which we were unaware of until we paid on our last day of our trip.

We had an amazing time for our first time in Paris staying at Maison a Elle. The staff was magnificent and the rooms and hotel decor was so chic and beautiful! The rooms are small but we found it to be very cozy and gave us the true Paris experience! We definitely would stay again next time we come to Paris.

I was travelling with my daughter and the shower being completely open to the entire room is not ideal. “Private bathroom” means the toilet is private, that’s it. The shower is behind a glass wall. Our friend’s room was the same. Our room also had a vent that linked directly to room on the floor above and we could hear everything. We had to put pillows in front of the vent in an effort to block the noise. We were upgraded to a “junior suite” and I would have been disappointed had I paid full price.
