The location of this property is unbeatable—within walking distance of Notre Dame, several landmarks, countless restaurants, boulangeries, and shops. The hotel itself is pleasant, though the rooms are in need of updates. The staff are friendly and courteous, and the self-service laundry facility was a convenient bonus.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL I cannot stress enough to not stay at this worn down, rude staffed shambles of a hotel. It is very tired and worn down and after doing some research this states back to 2015 in the reviews with the same comments about the state of the place. The staff are extremely rude upon check in and act like you are the scum of the earth, tutting at you and huffing and puffing at you. This is not worth the alot a night I paid, I'm absolutely disgusted. I am a seasoned traveller and regularly give honest reviews. The carpets are worn, tired, marked, stained and sun scorched - and example of them not being reached for years. The rooms are noisy as it's next to a very busy road. The walls are marked, dented and paint falling away. As well as skirting boards. As well as the shower being as powerful as a watering can that leaks out the sides of the head. The cleaners are not doing a good job as there was dust on desks and towel rails. The staff clearly do not check the rooms over and haven't repaired any snagging lists (that I would be surprised if they even do these) Look at previous reviews before you just take my word from it 10 years of people mentioning the run down rooms. Again this is not worth the money and do yourself a favour and book else where that is more premium for the price they charge!

Excellent location for sightseeing by foot. There are also many restaurants and shops within steps from the hotel. If you’d rather stay in for a meal, the kitchenette has dishes, pots/pans and utensils (no seasonings). There is also a fantastic coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine in the lobby that we really enjoyed using. There is a luggage storage room if you arrive earlier than your check in time. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room could have used a deep cleaning and a fresh coat of paint though. All in all, we did enjoy our stay there.

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment-hotel room. Everything was really nice and enjoyable. The only thing that was super noticeable was the hard bed. It was pretty hard to lay on, no give. We did sleep pretty well though. I would stay here again. Local to many tourist areas and metro.

We were happy with our stay at Citadines Paris, the room/studio was a good size and hanging space and bathroom very good. Kitchen again ok, but did not really cook here, too many choices close by. The fellow that checked us in was grump and not helpful, but all the other staff were happy to assist with queries. The location is great walkable to the Louvre, St Michel / Latin Quartre and St Germaine du Pres (great restaurants here). We were at the back of the hotel and our window (which we were able to open) looked out over the district. Will be staying here next time in Paris

Hotel location was great which meant higher pricing. Initial check in was ok but it would have been useful to have a little more direction for parking. I understand the French mentality though so I can’t say it was unexpected. The hotel would benefit from upgrading to include USB plugins. It’s pretty commonplace now and although I did have an adaptor with me it’s just not as convenient. It was great to have a kitchen with a refrigerator. AC was decent but I’m glad it was cooler while we were there.

This place has really gone downhill from our last visit 12 years ago. The whole place is very outdated with old rugs and dingy hallways. Our room had a very old worn carpet and the tub siding in the bathroom was falling off. The curtains were off the rod over the windows and the handle to open the windows was chipped. When I booked this place many months ago, I asked for the same room we had for our 25th anniversary and they never replied. When I asked for it at checkin they said it was a different room rate which I understand but they could have at least replied to my email. When we asked how much a taxi would be to go to the big train station (Gare de Lyon) the staff had no idea and didn’t even attempt to look it up for us. Honestly the only good thing about this hotel now is the location.
