Large room with toilet being separate was great.
Broken aircon & bar fridge broken for days
Bag stolen whilst we slept overnight, someone broke into our room. No-one believed us until found on another floor we had not been on by cleaner. Asked to speak to cleaner gone home. Asked to speak to Mge. Don’t have his number. Can only contact in emergency. Well my bag with passport, cash, credit cards seems like an emergency to me (I can’t get home without passport. Suddenly after five hours at Australian Embassy & Police, when we got back bag had been found minus cash, ,credit cards, umbrella.
Fortunately passport still in it. Then they offered to free nights whilst we waited for emergency passport. Too little too late. We were so scared we would have moved hotels had it not been found.
We did get two free breakfasts, well that was a bonus given how stressed we were.
Said they couldn’t do anything. Yes investigate your security cameras and staff. They would show us the security cameras.
This was just plain traumatic and poor service in regards to maintenance issues, and the costs of Uber if four times (40 minutes each time, plus 259 for emergency passport, which my daughter paid for as everything had been stolen.
Not even the mgr called us back when we asked to speak to him. They declared they had no number and his day off.
We spent last night with chairs and cases jammed up against the door and got no sleep as we were scared stiff.
