Lobby and communal areas ok (we only walked through after check in at 10pm) but the room smelled of stale cigarettes and i woke with 3 bed bug bites on my wrist/arm. Didnt feel clean at all, would not stay here again :-(

Swimming pool was freezing-has been freezing both in summer and winter not child friendly at all my small kids were shivering, decorations in main areas were pretty, the dining manager Paul was brilliant. Food was very expensive- £100 for fish and chips, pizza, club sandwich and portion of fries. Breakfast buffet is quite good.

Fabien ana Marwa were excellent at reception, the bar staff on the night shift were not very friendly average. The host at the buffet iis very welcoming , he made me feel very comfortable.

Honestly for a ‘4’ star hotel that is pretty expensive I would have expected so much more. As soon as you leave the front desk it’s really dirty and old, it states ‘noise proof’ rooms and they absolutely were not, you could hear everything. They gave us a single pillow the size of a couch cushion per person and not extras. The rooms also say they have aircon but they were uncomfortably hot and the cooling did not work.

We booked this hotel to stay the first night (our travel day) so we could make the most of our park tickets. The hotel was ok, the rooms were very basic, it was big and busy, the bar really expensive and the shuttles to and from the park chaotic. I wouldn’t have wanted this to of been my actual holiday hotel.

Unfortunately the bathroom in our first room was very dilapidated. It had black mould around the bath, shower, taps and shower gel dispensers. The toilet was stained. Not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The second room that we were moved to was only marginally better, still with traces of black mould in the bathroom. Our late check was also declined on the morning of our booking despite asking for it 6 weeks before, and it being a major factor in why I booked here in the first place. They would not refund our booking so that we could move to another hotel. The duty manager was very dismissive and unaccommodating. The other reason for booking for this hotel was for the pool, of which was closed on our arrival with no pre-warning. We were offered use of a another hotels pool a shuttle bus away, not really ideal in minus degree weather with a toddler. Overall, the downstairs areas were well presented. But the accommodation levels felt run down and 'cheap'. Very disappointing. I would not stay here again.
