The trip was ok. First room we couldn’t get into because the key didn’t work so they gave us a new room. The second room smelled heavily like cleaner to possibly cover the cigarette smell?? And the refrigerator was extremely loud. The third room was got was nice, it was on the golf course and we got ducks and crows visiting us so that was quite nice. Our last night in the property was actually pretty awful. The ground keeping crew started cutting trees a 4:00am, yes in the morning!!! Now, I’ve lived and had houses even worked construction in the desert for more that 20 years and I know the guys have to get started early to avoid the heat, but running loud power equipment that early is completely uncalled for, it wasn’t even supposed to break 90 this day. The front desk was absolutely no help and when I asked to speak with a manager at checkout I was left waiting for about 20 minutes until I finally just ended up leaving. Love the Marriott love the grounds but running any power tools like this with the big trucks and all was unacceptable and in poor taste treatin their guests like that.

Check in was terrible, room was not ready, we had to go back and demand another room. The patio was filthy, dust and dirt everywhere. Carpets were filthy, socks got dirty. Extremely loud music from golf carts, extreme use of foul language, F-bombs! Marriott expected us to remove bed sheets, take out garbage, wash dishes, clean towels were extra. Very poor.

My recent stay at this Marriott property was unfortunately my first negative experience after about a half a dozen positive stays at other Marriott locations. Several issues arose, starting with check-in. We weren't informed of the $25 daily parking fee, nor were we given WiFi instructions. Worse, our room's bathtub and vanity area had a bunch of small drainage worms around it. While the staff attempted to address the problem, the worms repeatedly returned throughout our four-day stay, despite assurances that the area had been cleaned. The overall cleanliness of the room was also subpar, with hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor, and fingerprints on the kitchen cupboards, refrigerator, and windows. The daily "tidy up" service, which we only received once, was minimal, consisting of little more than a quick made bed. Lotion and coffee refills were also neglected. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and tried to resolve the worm issue to the best of their ability. The outdoor grounds were well-maintained and attractive. The hotel's proximity to the JW Marriott was a plus, as we spent most of our time there, enjoying its pool area. The small market and gift shop near the lobby, complete with a Starbucks, were also convenient.

I must admit that it crossed my mind that I don't want to oversell this because I want to keep it a secret! This is a little paradise. Spacious, well kept, clean comfortable units. Well maintained property and facilities. Great activities, especially the daily aquafit program with Abraham.

Lovely property. Comfortable room with lovely view of the golf course. Two “negatives”. First, the grounds maintenance began early in the morning and so I was awakened sooner than desired. Second, there was a $25 per night charge to park at a self-park, outdoor spot near my unit. I think this was an unnecessary and excessive fee.

Nice Hotel…if it were a retirement community

While the condition of the hotel was good, the property felt outdated for the price and, honestly, felt more like a retirement community than a resort. Amenities were nice with many pools throughout.
