Malama Ohana

Unique 850 sqft one bedroom Ohana with ocean views, vaulted ceilings, full kitchen, private lanai, saltwater pool w gazebo, nestled in a stunning 3 acre estate. This ohana has a special history as it was formerly Sea West Studios, a world class recording studio that served Hawaii's premier artists (Crosby Stills & Nash recorded vocals here) who preferred to record in this incredibly peaceful atmosphere. Pele spared this oasis during the 2018 eruption, saving it for your special experience.

The space
The ohana, while attached to the main house, remains very private and secure. You'll have your own front porch, entrance and private lanaii, but the outdoor spaces are shared with my wife and me.

The pool deck and gazebo are shielded from the ohana by colorful, dense vegetation. You also have a private picnic table off the lanai for outdoor dining.

We value the peace and quiet of this special place, and ask that you play any music at a respectful level.

The night sky here is simply amazing on a clear night. We encourage guests to hang out on the pool deck for stargazing.

Peaceful Place

We rented this place for 4 nights. It's clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The view from the kitchen & back porch was beautiful. I enjoyed sitting, reading, and watching the weather change every 30 minutes. I recommend this place and would rent it again.
