It was a lovely venue and they had popcorn and coffee and snacks for us which was an added bonus. Steve and Jennifer are wonderful people to work with. We will be using it yearly in the future for our family Christmas's. The beds were so confortable and the pillows a dream. Thanks for having a big fun place to house our family.

What a PERFECT place to stay with extended family! After a wedding reception in St. Johns, three of my brothers and their wives, my neice, her husband and five kids, as well as my nephew, his wife, toddler and newborn wanted to stay nearby vs. driving back to the west side of the state. This place had everything! The teensand elementary aged kids played games, basketball, and watched TV while enjoying popcorn upstairs. The adults gathered in the large dining room with drinks, snacks and stories. There was even a pizza run to the Pizzaria across the street at one point. The bedrooms are dark and quiet - enough so that the 2 year old and newborn were fast asleep while the rest the family made all kinds of noice throughout the house. Beds were comfortable, small white noise machines in each room. The entire house was spotless! Very sweet and thoughtful touches like fresh popcorn in the game room and a hot pot of coffee ready when we arrived Saturday night. I can't recommend the Ovid Hotel enough. We really have no reason to come back to Ovid, but my brothers and I agreed it would be fun to gather the rest of the family for a sleep over and rent the entire building again. Thank you, Jennifer, so helping us top off a perfect family weekend. It's so appreciated!

What an great place to stay for an event. We used the kitchen and banquet area for a catered meal of 50 people and the game room up top was a great hang out.

Everything we wanted and more in this beautiful historic building!!

This was the perfect venue to host our event. We had a local caterer serve a 4-course dinner in the banquet hall, we had a standing reception upstairs in the game room, then later partied the night away on the dance floor, then those from the party who spent the night enjoyed the convenient lodging. It was a perfect night
