Worse than bad

This place is a meth den. I understand Washington wants to their homeless, but not on my dime. The price was ridiculously for the standard of room. Nothing in room worked, drawers didn’t open and shut, burn holes in the bedspread from 1970! Unbelievable that Wyndham would allow this under their umbrella. Shame on Super 8!

Great value for visiting Olympia area

Very good value simple hotel. Staff are excellent. Rooms are just fine. It's next to the freeway but the room noise on the bottom level was very low. They take pets and it's very convenient for visiting Olympia.

Not handicap friendly. No elevators. Couldn’t find access to “free” breakfast that didn’t involve stairs.

Stayed twice in a 2 week period. Both stays staff was EXCEPTIONAL . Both stays in handicap room. 1st stay the toilet was low, but had good handrail to help us get up. Room really clean, all good. 2nd stay we were put in different handicap room. High toilet, but room could have been improved: rusty lamp, lamp shade torn, pillow in chair looked like animal had chewed on it as well as seam was ripped out and had to call desk to get tv to work. 2nd stay other problems can only be blamed on current other guests. Dogs barking & whimpering but not long enough to call desk just long enough to wake you up. Doors banging closed all night and neighbors foul mouth disagreements off and on all night. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.

Kaby was great . Clean rooms, clean pool. Pre Check in worked great. I have stayed here before more than once over the last few years, and it keeps improving. I will continue to utilize this Super 8.

The staff was fine just did a check in no other contact with them. The property is very old and outdated. Did not use the pool so not sure about that. We left early before breakfast was served. If you are looking for a place to sleep it’s fine.

I left a 600 dollar Steam Deck video game console in one of the two rooms I stayed in from the 25th until the morning of the 27th. The hotel claims that the device is not in the room but that is literally the only place it could be. This is a huge loss financially and I would appreciate an investigation. Thank you.

In a pinch, and in my case broken a/c on 95 degree day, a blessing. Within my budget, my daughter and I stayed in an a/c room, which was running when we got into our room. The hostess was uber friendly and helpful, quick checkin and quick to come up and set the wifi password for TV. Great channel selections after pool swim. The bathroom needed a ceiling repair and no USB chargers, but the least of things as we slept good in a cool room after a dip in the pool. Would stay again in a pinch. We do have a small dog and you can't beat the $20 a night fee versus $50 at other hotels.

Good Communication is Key

Despite having problems with their water. This motel could have just let us figure it out and took our money. Instead they contacted me until I spoke with them and explained the situation. They offered to cancel the room. But I told them it would be okay. They gave us discounts and I did the pre-check in. When I got there. Everything was waiting for me. I signed one paper about the pet policy and was on my way to my room. Thank you for making sure communication was key. My family truly enjoyed the stay.

Clean but no hot water, needs renovation etc

Picked hotel for my monthly business trip. Have tried other motel hotels in area but had found others always under renovation construction. Picked this hotel after calling them - the day before - to make sure they were not under construction. Arrived in evening to find that they had no hot water. (Mechanical repair failed.) They said they tried calling me but no calls received etc. Too late for me to find alternate. Motel room was clean but old with minor recent updates. Toilet was loose. Free Breakfast is a 3 out of 5 compared to near by hotels. Many of those having breakfast that day mentioned in conversations they were staying there on public assistance etc. Pool looked decent. Dont pay over $75 a night to stay here unless no other option. I expect this will be the next motel to be under renovation etc.

It was a enjoyable stay The only thing I did not like was, we had our two cats with us and the hotel required us to follow the one person had to be the room with our cats at all times. We were in Lacey looking to buy a home and putting the cat item plus the cats in our car to look at homes was a major problem. When we wanted to go out to eat we had to take the cats with us.
