Check-in was efficient. Room was clean. Road noise was minimal (considering proximity to I-95). Linen was smell and stain free. Mattress was best I've had in decades (if you like firm, which I do). Down side is the facility shows its age but you get what you pay for, without the normal bad stuff (see above). Water was hot enough but water pressure was closer to a trickle (took at night, not in morning).

In for a quick one night stay, flexibility on early check in was great. Very close to I-95 so some background traffic noise. Our room was carpeted, but new LVP is going in thru out. Great value and Main St Old Saybrook has nice shops and restaurants. Would recommend Mirsina's for breakfast if looking for more than continental.

Well located for getting to the places we wanted to be. This is an older property, but well taken care of and service was very good. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This motel was very good for the price. It was clean, quiet, and just a short ride to places in Old Saybrook and Westbrook. But although it offers a free continental breakfast, the offerings are minimal. After my first breakfast at the motel, I ate out. Other than the breakfast, I enjoyed my stay.

The inn is centrally located and a short drive from Niantic, Old Saybrook, and Essex. The only negative is that it's so close to the highway that you hear the traffic go by. It's not loud enough to drown out the television or anything, but it's definitely louder than white noise.

Decent, no-frills

Good, no-frills hotel. Clean. Decent bed. Nice towels. Good value. Room was a bit musty-smelling. Not near any amenities. Constant sound of nearby interstate. Skipped breakfast.

This hotel worked out good for us. We needed a place to sleep and shower in the morning. It was fine. The manager was very helpful, I read a horror story about another couple getting in after hours. I asked if I could get my room key earlier and he let me.( the room wasn’t ready but it didn’t matter to us since we would be back til late.
