This was supposed to be my first Vrbo booking but sadly, my family and I were not able to experience it as intended. I saw this lovely vacation stay and decided to book it to spend time with my family for my last day in Jamaica on the North Coast. There was full availability advertised for that week and I had paid and secured the booking the day prior and received full confirmation.Unfortunately the host informed us prior to our arrival that the cottage was somehow already double-booked and that I should reach out to the his site manager to see what other accommodations we could receive in another part of the community for the inconvenience. I decided to contact Vrbo support who reached out to him on my behalf to process a refund because my family and I weren't pleased with being offered something other than what we liked and paid for. I can only assume that the property is multi-listed on the app or another platform for something like that to happen. Unfortunately what ever caused the disorganization prevented us from finishing the journey here. Luckily the host is decently responsive and communicative so I was able to receive my refund timely after Vrbo reached out.
