The fireplace in the room was really nice, it kept the room warm. It was needed, because the heater did not work in our room. The kitchen had full size appliances, dishes, pans and silverware. This was really nice for our stay of a dew days. The staff could explained the hotel features and provided information. There were stairs you had to take to get to almost all rooms. It was a little hard to get luggage to the room. It would of been nice to know that there was a ramp that you could use to access the second floor, which we didn't find out until we eere leaving.

My daughters and I recently stayed in the south building for a couple of nights for spring break. It was actually even better than what we imagined after reading the reviews. We really enjoyed watching the boats and sea lions go in and out of the harbor right from our living room. We also loved all the twinkle lights that came on after dark… great ambiance! Everything worked in the kitchen, everything was nice and clean, the bathrooms looked recently renovated. Best of all was the views! Only negative, might be the beat up dresser/night stands and a few stains on the carpet- not a big deal at all for us. The restaurants were about a 20 minute beautiful walk through the harbor. We will definitely be back for some more relax time!

Beautiful, updated and spacious . We felt like we had a private apartment. Great view of sunset and nice area for a morning walk around the harbor. Seals were loud, but a fun problem to have.

What an excellent stay. Accommodations were better than expected. Gotta say the showers were disappointing. We were expecting a 1 bedroom suite. Scored a 2 bedroom suite. Excellent harbor views. We felt first class. I choose the wrong dates by 1 day, the correction was made with no issues. We want to go back.
