Quaint, friendly and very comfortable hotel
Staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful, food was very good, rooms very comfortable and clean, homely atmosphere. Bathroom figments could do with refurbishment. Would book again without any hesitation.

Charming, well-run inn in beautiful Cheshire
Absolutely charming hotel, perfectly located for our purposes. Very clean, lovely service. Of course the room was small by our standards and we had to do some creative rearranging of furniture and coffee tray etc. Also the large, spotless bathroom had a beautiful antique clawfoot tub/shower combo, which was challenging for my husband to get in and out of--just request something else at booking if that is an issue for you. Also note that the rooms do not have mini fridges, but you can access the bar fridge if needed.

We only stayed one night but loved the rooms, very nice decor, deep freestanding bath. Very good value, we will visit again. Breakfast wasn’t included but was excellent .

Great rooms, great access from restaurant/bar to rooms and friendly staff. Service for breakfast was extremely slow and I’m not sure why as is wasn’t busy, drinks are quite expensive but overall very lovely place - great for dog lovers including myself!!
