The hotel is very convenient, as it is located close to the train station. However, the sound insulation is poor; I can hear the noise from cars outside and conversations from the room across the hall every night. Additionally, the bed linens and blankets feel quite worn.

I booked this hotel as it is advertised as room with balcony, even comes with a photo of how the room looks like. I was disappointed when I was assigned with a room without a balcony and a window facing the back alley as the guest "needs to specifically request for a balcony during the booking", not automatically given. Felt like a false advertisement to me. Room is very small but comfy bed. 5 mins walk from main train station. Other than that, everything else is good.

We checked into the Hotel Bristol with high hopes however was immediately let down when we entered the room. The stench of strong cigarette smoke filled the room - there was a dirty sock attached to the smoke detector with elastic bands which the previous occupant of the room I’m assuming used to smoke in the room without the alarm detecting it. I did not sleep a wink with the stench and smell reaching the back of my throat. The bathroom was tiny and you couldn’t sit on the toilet without banging your leg in the sink. When I asked the staff to move the room due to the complaints, I was told No and advised to spray air freshener. Just awful!

OK for the money we paid

Clean and comfortable and nice and close to the station, but the bathroom is somewhat cosy and has what must be the smallest shower in France! We didn't have breakfast included, and it didnt look to be worth the €12 they wanted for it. The man on reception barely looked up when i came to collect my baggage on leaving, and i ended up having to go behind the desk myself to fetch it.

Die Räume sind sehr klein. Schon 2 Koffer haben keinen Platz. Es fehlen im Bad Haken - die eigentlich ja nichts kosten. Angeblich war unser DZ mit Zustellbett der grösste Raum ??? Fenster beginnt in Brüstungshöhe, man fühlt sich wie in einem Abstellraum. Unserer Meinung nach, wird das Horel auf den Fotos besser dargestellt als es ist. Es tut uns leid, aber heutzutage noch Teppichboden geht gar nicht - er ist auch uralt …. da muss ich nichts mehr sagen.
