Really appreciated the water fountains on each floor. Staff super friendly. Bar/restaurant lovely. Breakfast was ok, although could have had a couple more options on the cooked section. Shame that the pool was closed as we did not realise this prior to booking and we booked based on the pool.

I had a truly great experience with the staff — they are attentive, professional, and always ready to help with any issue. They make you feel completely comfortable in the property, just like being at home. Every single team member I interacted with was exceptional. I dealt with four or five people in total, including a wonderful front office manager who went above and beyond to resolve any concern and ensure my stay was perfect. I would definitely come back. An outdated but clean hotel with wonderful, friendly staff. Walking distance to everything you might want in Nice. The amenities (shower, bath, sinks) are old, and might back up a bit- but clean. If you're lucky, you might be able to grab a free parking spot in front of the hotel.

Hotel is perfectly located to access Old Nice, the train station, bus stops, trams, etc to get to all surrounding areas. The staff were excellent but especially the bar/restaurant area. The main lobby, restaurant and outdoor areas including pool were well maintained, the hallways and rooms themselves were a bit older with stained carpets, thus my lower review for the facilities.

Probably best to stay elsewhere.

As an Accor member, i tend to use Novotel quite often as i travel plenty. This is the worst Novotel I've stayed in so far. The smell in the room and the corridoor is horrible and the old stained carpets will give an answer to that smell. I'm suprised as you tend to find Novotel have a quite uniform quality and feel you expect. The service was quite rigid also, small things like there not beinf a fresh bottle of hand wash from the previous guest and when I called to ask reception as we'd ran out they replied "impossible" to do and I could come down and ask??.. little things like this make you feel asking for anything is a chore. All round needs a face lift as that run down feel doesn't match the brand. The one thing I did find pleasent was the mattress which was really comfortable once you get past the issues.

Rather pricey for what you get. Some reception staff appear stressed at simple requests huffing and eye rolling. Breakfast very basic including mouldy oranges. The people cleaning the rooms though excellent work very friendly as are the bar staff.

Property is in a good location and can walk to most places, Old Town and Museums in 25-30 minutes. Positives- restaurant very good quality food. Tried it for dinner one evening and paid similar amount we’d pay for a meal elsewhere. Breakfast was also good value with lots of choice, something for everyone including health conscious travellers. So if you like getting up for breakfast, I’d recommend paying for this with your booking which works out cheaper. We paid €21 each on the day. Rooftop terrace with swimming pool was a nice feature. Drinks served there at set times but we didn’t use this. The door lock of one of our rooms was faulty, the key fob would not work but this was quickly rectified by the staff and engineer. The property needs a bit of updating. Carpets in our room were marked and need replacing. Our sons’ bathroom screen wasn’t fully functional ie couldn’t be kept open or ajar. Basin drain smelled a bit. The gym was poorly equipped so some disappointment there. Overall an ok hotel, I’d rate it as a 3 star hotel. Ok stay, nothing special or amazing. A small Lidl was nearby for snacks and pastries (includes a bakery).

Do not get confused with the name says centre, this hotel is not even near central Nice or beach. We had to take taxi or walk every morning and evening to go to somewhere we can have food/drinks or site seeing. Hotel is just cheap nothing else.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at Novotel Nice Centre. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards expected from your brand, and I am requesting a refund due to the following issues: • Uncomfortable beds that made it very difficult to rest. We had to ask that the spare bed be made up because we couldn’t sleep in the proper bed and in fact this was worst ! • Broken shower and screen, which caused inconvenience during my stay. And water to poor onto the floor which we had to keep mopping up. • Hotel pool out of service, with no prior notice given. The only reason we booked the hotel was because of the rooftop pool. • Unclean areas, including visibly dirty spaces around the hotel. • Lift service extremely poor, with waiting times of up to 20 minutes. • Very poor-quality breakfast, far below expectations for a Novotel hotel. • Broken public toilets, which were unacceptable in terms of hygiene and comfort. These issues severely impacted my stay and made the experience unpleasant and frustrating. I trusted Novotel’s reputation for quality and service, but what I encountered fell far short of that standard. Given the number and seriousness of these problems, I believe a full refund is a fair resolution. I kindly ask that you process this refund at your earliest convenience and confirm once it has been actioned. I hope this matter can be resolved swiftly and amicably. Thank you for your attention.
