The rooms have been recently updated. We stayed in room 503. Very clean, newly remodeled, with view of a buildings roof line. The convenient “included breakfast” had a good selection of options ,such as precooked scrabbled eggs, a machine to boil eggs, another to make small pancakes and self serve automatic coffee machine with lattes, cappuccinos etc. it also had salads, fruit, cereal and cold cut meats. It is within walkable distance to Old Town Nice and shopping areas. The staff were very helpful. CONS: I had booked it because they advertised with parking available, but when I showed up they said I had a big van and it would not fit on their parking and recommend to park at Parking Meyerbeer, which is around the block from the hotel but had to pay €42 daily rate.

The staff was very attentive to our needs from the first to the last interaction. We came in early with lots of luggage, they took care of storing it while the room was getting cleaned up. They let us enjoy the breakfast buffet even though it was almost 11am and they were ready to close. The staff was very friendly and understanding. We enjoyed an early check-in at 12:30pm and the room was fabulous on the highest floor, with an amazing sea view and a large balcony. We enjoyed a nice dinner at Le Siecle. They took care of ordering a taxi for us the next day. Overall an excellent experience.

Extremely Disappointing Accommodations for $3,000

We stayed here for a week as part of our 3-week Europe trip, choosing this hotel based on its location and positive review but were disappointed from the start. Our original room had multiple issues: broken fixtures, black mold and mildew in the shower, and a completely non-functional A/C unit blowing 81°F air despite being set to 73°F. We reported it to the front desk, who promised maintenance would fix it, but nothing changed. We asked for a fan, which was never delivered. My wife, 5 months pregnant, developed a fever from the heat and couldn’t sleep. Meanwhile, the hallway was noticeably cooler, clearly the A/C was working elsewhere. After four nights, I insisted on switching rooms. They hesitated, saying they were fully booked, but sent maintenance again—who confirmed the A/C issue couldn’t be fixed. Eventually, we were moved to a new room with working air, but were told we had to pack and move in 15 minutes because they were going to put someone else in our room. Knowing it was broken they didn’t care and would put someone else in there. Before we left, hotel management promised us a refund for the trouble. However, after we checked out, they changed their story and refused to issue any refund. Thankfully, Hotels.com stepped in and covered the refund themselves because the hotel lied. The property is clearly falling apart, and the staff offered excuses instead of solutions. I would not recommend staying here.

It was in the heart of Nice on the Promenade des Anglais and was priced accordingly. I have traveled considerably and found the staff unhelpful. I had thought I had paid for my entire stay only to be asked to pay an extra tax 27.84 Euros that was deducted from the 400 Euros they held for possible extra fees. I do not like surprises in bills.
