The service was average at best, we were travelling with a number of bags. No assistance by the staff at all. On check out, the porter was fussing about the number of bags- no assistance to take them down the steps leading up the hotel. They simply watched us taking them off the trolley and take them outside. Our room was not ready on arrival, we sat in the lobby but no one advised us when the room was available until after we checked 1.5hours later. In general, the hotel is dated but the service really lets down what could have been a good stay. For the money that is charged, the staff let down the property and experience. Would not stay again…

The location (across from the beach and by old town) and the beautiful facade are a plus. However, the interior is tired looking, the grass wallpaper on the wall behind the bed was very dusty, the carpet worn looking and lacked other details (e.g conditioner for hair) that I would ordinarily expect in a 4 star hotel.

This hotel has a fantastic location with great views of the Bay and Promenade. The rooms are rather small but very modern. The main lobby is a charming picture of shabby elegance, and there are several smaller public areas too. Our room was not ready on time, which was disappointing in light of our 10-hour flight, but the staff was kind and we were given late checkout the following day. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a large assortment of choices. There are many restaurants, shops, bars, etc. within easy walking distance. The Prom itself is a great place for strolling and people-watching.

Property was very dirty. Mold in the bathroom walls. Start at check in did not bring up our luggage. Pictures of the property are deceiving and not worth the premium prices that were charged.

Lovely hotel in an excellent neighborhood across the street from the beach. Breakfast buffet was high quality and copious. Friendly and helpful staff. Only criticism is the sometimes slow elevator.

We liked the hotel but the room wasn’t cleaned every day and amenities not restocked. There were loud kids in the room beside us but the hotel did resolve this when we talked to them. Location was great and so was breakfast. Also you couldn’t beat the sea view room!
