Green Hotels in Niagara-on-the-Lake

We had a 5-night stay at this property. It is charming and the staff was very helpful. The fireplace in the room was a nice touch and we enjoyed it a few evenings. The breakfast was also nice and to have table service and a hot breakfast was welcomed. My only suggestions would be to provide down pillows as the bamboo ones were too firm and created neck strain and the regular pillows were quite lumpy. I would also recommend updating the lighting in the room and bathroom or replace the bulbs with a brighter higher watt bulb as the room and bathroom were dark, even with the lights on. One final recommendation would be to expand parking for overnight guests as it was challenging each evening to find available parking. Street parking was always available; however, that came with a charge. One evening, a staff member agreed to move their vehicle so that we could park and while we greatly appreciated that, I think there's an opportunity here to improve things. Enjoyed the stay overall.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - asking us if they could help when we looked lost in one of the hallways; offering to accommodate food allergies as much as possible; greeting us warmly coming and going; etc. The hotel room was very clean and the hotel grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. We spent a couple of hours in the evening lounging outside in the garden courtyard couches enjoying the nice weather, music from the nearby Play restaurant and the flowers and fountains. It was a mini oasis. Thank you!
