We started off having a drink in the sports bar..booked into our room which was small but very clean..booked a table for evening meal.the food was absolutely lovely.the staff was so friendly and easy to talk to..breakfast was really nice .. a very nice stay comfy bed ..will be booking back up

Whilst the accommodation is basic, it’s comfortable and well located by the sea front in Shields. A few minor irks could be easily improved upon ( luke warm tea for breakfast, instant coffee!!! , not even filtered, full breakfast is good, but a smaller portion of beans would do most people) . It could do with a bit more attention around the back of the bed and cupboard as it was a little bit dusty, but other than that the room was very clean. Bathroom was very clean. I couldn't work out how to turn on the tv, so i left it and watched YouTube on my phone. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Shelley, the bar staff was helpful also, she is a credit to your team. I would stay there again in the future.

The room was a good size but smelled badly. We opened the windows which did clear it eventually. Found someone else's deodorant on the floor under the desk. The staff are very nice. Car park is free and always had spaces. Great location for the sea front. We had hreakfast off-site so can't comment on that.
