The hotel was extremely clean and very nice!!! Comfortable bed! Large rooms, and loved the little patio outside our room! Lots of seating room around the hotel with large fireplaces to gather and a cozy bar! I did not unfortunately like the restaurant, we had our Valentines dinner there and out of 0 to 10 I give it a 0!!!! From the service to the food!

Room, staff, everything were awesome and very nice! One of the amenities we were looking forward to was the pool and especially the hot tub. Hot tub wasn’t even functioning and the pool needs some work - at least drained, painted,…. The advertising of the pool and hot tub was a major deciding reason why we booked. So disapppinted in that.

The room was spacious but the heat didn’t work the first night. The resort seems to under various stages of renovation. The wing we stayed in was cold and while the room was updated certain items were missing and the exterior hallways needed updating.

Taking one star off for minimal dirtiness. Dip pouches were imbedded in the side shelf beside the bed. Pretty disgusting to think you'd put your phone there. The room was overall good. The staff was great. Ordering food was fast and was prepared well.

Cons: There were lots of areas around the hotel that were not-vacuumed nor dusted due to recent and current construction. There was a large bag of trash left in the hallway for over 12 hours that room service neglected to pick up. None of the ice machines were working, so we had to walk to the front desk for ice. We were out of our room from 10am-7pm on a Saturday and no one provided house-keeping, so we had to call the front desk for fresh towels, hair conditioner, a new garbage bag for our bin and a pen. That took about an hour to obtain, so we had to wait to shower. There was a LOT of construction dust in our room and in a few hallways, so we woke up with dry throats. It was obvious they were trying to upgrade parts of the hotel, but there were no "pardon our dust" signs. The breakfast we paid for was just "okay" as far as offerings, but the service was quite good from the waitresses. The pool, unfortunately, was too cold to swim in and the hot tub wasn't working at all (colder than the pool). Children were jumping into the pool and scrambling out of it, but no one was staying in the pool and playing. This was disappointing because we chose the hotel based on the fact that it had a pool/hot tub. We did get a good deal on Expedia, but had I paid full-price, I would have been upset overall. Pros: The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice. Rooms were unexpectedly spacious. The hotel was quiet. Front desk and restaurant staff were VERY friendly.
