Suites do not accommodate 4 adults comfortably
I wish I could give this property 5 stars. The outdoor and lounge areas are so nice and inviting and the location was perfect for the purpose of our stay. However, we had a less than awesome experience with our rooms. 4 (2 couples)adults stayed in a suite. Our first room smelled heavily of smoke. I reported this to the front desk. She, with no questions asked, immediately assigned us a new suite. That was very much appreciated! We were shocked at bedtime to realize that the pull out sofa was only a twin bed. Also, there were absolutely no linens for the bed…that was a second trip down to the front desk. My 6ft tall husband got the twin side and I had to put the cushions on one section of the sofa to sleep on what amounted to a toddler size area. Needless to say there was no sleep happening for us that night. I don’t understand why the online registration allowed 4 adult people to book a suite that clearly could accommodate only 3 at best! The next morning I went down to the lobby to get a cup of freshly brewed coffee for 2 only to find no self serve coffee available anywhere. I had to wait for 10 minutes or so for a restaurant server (she was very busy..seemed to be understaffed) to pour 2 cups of coffee. And then I was charged $7 for them! Enough complaining… Friendly staff in spite of being understaffed and our room was very clean.
