I will start off by saying the front desk was very helpful with my request for glasses and an extra pillow in the room. That being said my stay started off with a very strong terrible smell as soon I got off the elevator like old Indian food with was very unpleasant and made me nauseous. Once in the room the TV was not working properly luckily the man who brought the pillow was able to sort of fix it however there was an annoying static sound on every channel which made it uncomfortable to watch. Also the bathroom was not cleaned very well, the large mirror was very dirty like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The toilet paper holder was super dusty and so were the floors in the water closet and the shower looked like it also was not cleaned which just made me wonder what else in the room was not cleaned. At that point I just didn't want to exchange rooms but It all and all was not the best experience. Again the front desk staff was great but I was not satisfird.

The area is an industrial area and definitely as a life long city girl would not be walking around in thr evening looking for food options.

On the date of my reservation, I inquired about the possibility of adding a special request of placing something in the room to celebrate a birthday. I was told “we do not permit any kind of room decoration on the property”, when I responded stating that I did not necessarily want decorations I was asking for something simple like a welcome card wishing my other guest a happy birthday with some sort of complimentary fruit or dessert of some sort and was met with a response of “ We do not have these available. There are vending areas with a small selection where items can be purchased when you arrive, and food delivery is an option through the apps (doordash, ubereats, postmates etc...)” I was just making a simple request which most hotels could accommodate so I found this odd. I liked the overall set up of the room itself it was nice and had a great balcony view. The parking lot is very small and is first come first serve, which is about 12 spots really..and there was no valet available throughout my stay it said “The valet is currently closed” but I never saw it open throughout my stay so not sure if they have staff for that. Lastly, there was a roach crawling on the wall near the TV..thankfully we were checking out the next day so we just killed it and went to bed. Not a bad place to stay for a night if you are doing something around the area but there isn’t any amenities within the hotel which would would make a long stay pretty boring.
