The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, and it had a good sized bathroom. It did have a small refrigerator. it was very close to the subway, and it was very reasonable in price! However, the room had no plastic cups for water, no cups for hot water, no microwave and very few hangers (we were there for 5 nights). It had only one bed side table and reading light (and we had two beds). And only one trash can in the bathroom. It felt very bare bones! Of they fox these things, it would make rhe room much better!

The staff at the desk charged me $80 for early check in - “cash only”, and refused to provide a receipt. I was on business travel and now this is a personal expense for me. Very sad to see a practice like this in America. I’d never go to this place again.

Staff were nice. It was a short walk to the subway to get to Manhatten. AC worked well. It was very noisy at all different timea of night regardless of the day of the week. Construction, loud cars, ppl on street talking in middle of night, and icecream truck playing ita music at 10:30pm. Felt unseasy at times in the surrounding streets. Wouldn't feel comfortable walking alone as a female. Our room wasn't cleaned daily. It was very random, to be honest. Sometimes bed and towels changed and rubbish removed, and other times rubbish left, but beds were made. We kept only getting 2 towels even though there were 4 of us. Shower head wasn't good. Shampoo was in a sachet that you needed to tear while in the shower all wet and slippery. We constantly found long black hair on the towels, floor, etc. We are all blond or have short hair. Bedding had some stains and marks on them. Linen/towels could do with an update. Several times our room card didnt work and we needed to go to reception to reset it. It served its purpose I spose and fortunately we didn't spend much time in the room or surrounding area. Probably wouldn't stay again.

Nothing that was supposed to go the way it should have, as the key card was not working twice had to get a new one and that was the least of our problem. The main problem was the fact our door was opened by an employee due to cops arriving for another incident in the building. I feel that our privacy was invaded due to these actions being taken without our permission or consideration. This was allegedly done to check on the locks. The worst part about all this was that we found the door left open after the checking of the locks; nobody had informed us that any of this had happened until we realized that our door was open and we got concerned for our safety.
