Room was cozy. A little noisy if you on the street side - but it is right near Broadway so to be expected. If you want to see lots of broad shows this is a place for you. That’s right in the heart of midtown. The 6.50 breakfast is great. Staff at front counter could be a little bit more helpful. But overall a good experience

The staff was very welcoming, the rooms and and common areas were clean and the breakfast included was very convenient. The prices to stay were affordable. I stayed there, almost 20 years ago and everything was updated. Back then was amazing too. I will definitely come back. Thanks.

I LOVE this hotel!!! everytime i come to new york i want to stay here. the amenities they offer are incredible. Free wine and cheese and crackers at the Edison Happy Hour from 5-6 on tuesdays and fridays. and the free grab and go breakfast they provide with great options or you can sit down and eat from a fixed menu for $6.50 both are very good options. They also provide free walking tours on tuesdays mornings as well which are very interesting, informative and give you lots of information about the wonderful art you see throughout the hotel. As a frequent solo traveler I also appreciate the 24/7 elevator security :) I LOVE THE EDISON!!! :)

My room was 77 degrees and when I asked the next day for someone to come I eventually fell asleep as I was told repair person would come in about 10min but I got a call about an hour later (almost 11pm) apologizing and that they would comp the night. Never heard back nor anything about a comp night so sweated it out for my remaining 2 nights. Staff at the grab and go super unfriendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Edison. The location was perfect. The staff was really nice. We had an issue with our key cards one night and 2 of the managers jumped into action to take care of it for us. Our room was spacious and comfortable. One of the heaters seemed to be having an issue. We didn't report it as we weren't in the room too much and it weren't staying too long. I reported it when leaving and they apologized and told us that we really should have reported it. Our room was cleaned everyday which was unexpected. We had plenty of towels. We upgraded breakfast both days we stayed and the food and staff were very good. The happy hour was very nice and the food was good. I was pleased with the Hotel Edison and would recommend it and stay again.

Room was a little older and the outlets were a little full or in inconvenient spaces. The air conditioner was also older and the room didn't get any colder than 71. Also, it is Times Square, so be prepared to hear some outside noises at all hours of the day and night. With those minor inconveniences aside, the hotel is in a great location and is surrounded by theaters for all the Broadway shows you could want to see in walking distance.
