The hotel was great. Very much off the beaten path. Staff was very friendly. Room was great. Bed were a little firmer than we like but comfortable. Very disappointed about the pool. The heater was broken. The kids wanted to try swimming anyway. The water was VERY cold. The pool did not look like it had been filtered or cleaned. Lots of bugs floating and bottom looked dirty. No swimming. Would stay again if pool is fixed.

Room was very nice. Breakfast eggs a bit rubbery... Property entrance not clearly marked for strangers to arrive at night, and yet under development, it seemed. All in all, a good stay, however.

Very difficult to find turn off to get to motel...there needs to be a Holiday Express sign at the turn off. We requested a handicap accessible room....it was nice, very adequate but why in the world would a handicap cap room be located at the very end of a long hallway. People needing accessible rooms usually have mobility issues....it was a long hike!
