It was a beautiful get away. We loved being in the forest it was a great escape from our normal busy life. As a result it was so relaxing and nice. We also saw some wildlife there too which was awesome. The owner is a lovely helpful man and very kind. Was a great stay, thank you.

Midweek stay Yallingup Forest Resort.

Pros: Chalets are well appointed, well maintained, and comfortable. Staff are friendly, helpful and pleasant to deal with.
Cons: Nothing really stands out that needs improvement.
Location: Bush Shack Brewery next door is very convenient easy walking distance. Local wine tour Cellar d' Or picked us up from reception for a wine tour.
Enjoyed our midweek stay. So quiet I 'm not sure if there were any other guests. Very pleasant staff. Close enough to Dunsborough to be convenient and yet far enough away to be quiet and secluded. Cheese factory, chocolate factory, swimming and fishing beaches all within a short distance. So many things to do in a short distance from the resort we should have booked a longer stay.

Yallingup Family Holiday

The cottage was great, 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking. What impressed me the most was that everything was so clean. The house was spacious enough for us, three adults and a child. The staff were really friendly, everything you needed was available. Ava loved the pool, the trampoline and getting to play tennis. It was also so quiet. We had kangaroos right outside our cottage and I was able to run each morning on the bush track that takes you to Ngali Cave. A great family stay. I would strongly recommend this resort to families. My daughter is 6 and she loved it!

Comfortable quiet location

Close to Dunsborough. Basic amenities. Didn't realise that we would have two adjoining chalets in one large house until we arrived. Lovely flora and fauna and walk to local brewery for a beer. Grounds could be better kept with paths from shacks to pool etc. Best aspect was that it never felt busy or crowded. The kids loved the trampoline and pool.

Beautiful situation

Pros: Location, friendly management, the space and the wildlife.
Cons: Soundproofing
Location: Caves,wineries and beaches.
We loved staying here, the chalet was perfect but for one thing..the noise. We were reasonably lucky as we had a quiet couple next door, but we could hear every word they said, also the floorboards moved every time they walked through their rooms. We could even hear the toilet flushing and the microwave beeping. If these chalets could be soundproofed they would be perfect. I could not recommend this accommodation as it could turn in to a nightmare if you had noisy people next door.If there were children running about inside it would be unbearable. What a pity as the location was fabulous.

Peaceful place to dream .

Pros: Quiet surrounds yet close to action if wanted.
Cons: Funny one really but the beautiful quilt on the bed weighed a ton on ones legs
Location: On site there was the Bush Shack Brewery. where you could sample the products and buy a meal if one so wished .
Chose this place for the way it looked in the forest. It was really all we could have asked for. Everything was provided from great linen, lovely comfortable bed and couches and wonderful outlook. First day we had an amazing treat. Standing on the veranda with a coffee suddenly whoosh; something touched my head. A baby kookaburra landed on the rail I was leaning on, followed by two other kookaburras. I am an Australian and lived here 70 odd years; and have never had this happen . They fed out of our hands bits of chicken and stayed with us for quite a while. Bit of magic and made our week. Great place to unwind and come away refreshed .

Children running around in the adjoining chalet & making noise late into each night, made our stay just about intolerable. Not a venue recommended to those looking for a quiet stay.
