Lobby, elevator, hallway smells like weed. Button panels on elevator are grimy/dirty. My room smelled strongly of room spray with undertone of weed smell. They were trying to cover up the smell in the room. Gift wrap packaging (ribbons) were left in my room on the luggage bench so I knew room was not thoroughly cleaned after previous guest. Carpets looked worn and dirty. Run down hotel. Sketchy people in the parking lot loitering around. I checked out immediately and booked at Cambria. Cambria shuttle came over to pick me up there and I left.

The shuttle and checkin were efficient and friendly. The room looked nice and comfortable. Until bedbugs attacked me. I literally slapped myself awake due to the itchiness. Found two FAT ones feasting on me about 2 or 3AM. John at the front desk came up immediately, was able to squish one, the other had run for its life. I was asked to gather my things and come to the desk for a room transfer. Thankfully my items were all on the desk across the room. They wanted to put me on the same floor. No, changed floors. But now I was exhausted and paranoid, so I slept horribly (up about every 30 minutes checking). Prexa saw me the next day, said manager working on a discount or comp because I refused to take my satin pillowcase off the bed (I travel with it since bonnets never stay on) and wanted to at least be reimbursed. Went on about my day, returned. Next morning breakfast was tasty, but for hours later I burped the taste of eggs and my guys emptied the rest of the day. When I checked out, Prexa confirmed I'd be receiving a discount and an email but they didn't have a formal incident report as I requested. I checked out on a Sunday, today is Wednesday and I've heard nothing. All employees I interacted with were polite and hospitable, but not hearing directly from management is egregious and rude. I gave it time specifically to be gracious before posting this review.

Parking was confusing when I arrived (surface parking is limited and they have parking under the building). I took the last parking spot one of the nights, so it was very full. There was a $5 parking fee per night that I wasn’t expecting. The lobby and the free continental breakfast were nice. The rooms looked nice but smelled bad. The first room smelled like mold or urine. I relocated and the second room also smelled like mold. It was overpowering/uncomfortable. The A/C worked, however it ran constantly and it was loud. I wore earplugs at night. There is a fridge in the room. I couldn’t figure out how to make it colder (should I turn the dial up or down?). Location is convenient… extremely close to the interstate, a few minutes from the airport, and about 15-20 minutes from Nashville. I would not stay here again only because of the bad smell in the rooms. Otherwise, it’s a nice hotel in a convenient location.

Upon entry, the room has a weird musty smell. The show did not drain. It ran out onto the bathroom floor. The tiled paper holder was falling off of the wall. There were no towel racks to hang up towels, just one hook next to the shower. There was no way to turn off the bathroom fan (the front desk person said this was normal all throughout the hotel). The cleanliness was okay but definitely could have used improvement. The 6 th floor hallway carpet didn’t look or smell very clean - should probably be replaced.

I had the worst experience staying at country inn. The room was dirty, bed sheets had blood spots all over them. Staff weren’t helpful either and I had to switch to a different hotel.

The rooms had extremely unhealthy air quality. They were very moldy and mildewy. The carpets were wet. We were unable to open the windows to get any fresh air circulation. The air conditioning unit smelled terrible when it was running.

The rooms have a strong odor of mold and mildew. The were wet spots on the carpet in the first room. We were not able to open the windows to air out the room. The air conditioning unit smelled of mold when it was running. It felt extremely unhealthy to breathe the air in the room. We did request to be moved to a different room, which the front desk did accomodate, but the second room was not much better.
