The staff was very nice & communication was great. The garage security is a plus. The area is run down, though it gets a bit nicer if you walk in the right direction. The property is a bit bland and utilitarian in decor. The room was clean enough. Tissues & a blow dryer would be nice adds. The couch seemed pretty warn and the bed was uncomfortable. The shower curtain isn't the correct size so it won't close all the way. Overall the property is just okay, nothing wow about it.

Last time

Our original room was in a location that could have potentially been very loud and disruptive to sleep. We requested a new room and were given one much smaller, not as nice and poor view. Althought the staff were really nice and accommodating, the amenities left a lot to be desired. No chairs on the balcony, bathroom fan didnt work. Trash under the bed. Firepit in the courtyard would not work and there were no seat cushions on outdoor furniture. Maintenance tried to get firepit to work to no avail. Monique from housekeeping was super and made sure we had essentials for the room. We have stayed at Placmakr 3 times now and this will likely be the last. For the price per room we expected more. Very disappointed.

As a female solo on a business trip. I didn't like that I could not lock the door from inside. There was the typical hotel door stop but missed the inside security lock. Also the door was by code and less secure as people can hack digital codes. The space was amazing. Service incredible. No complaints vs security. In the night people even tried to code in my door and shake it waking me up. Then I heard them do same and get in down hall. In morning, house keeping actually opened door as I was in shower and thankfully I had door stop and was able to yell back that I was in process of checking out. I had even texted to say I planned to check out on time at 11 am.

One of the bedrooms didn't have curtains (just a shade), so it was really bright in the room all night.

it was overall a very nice place to stay, uber was affordable to all locations, only thing we didnt care for was the floors and rugs so dirty that it made socks and feet black, had to wear shoes all the time, but other than that all was nice

The property is about a 30 minute walk to where all the bars and music venues are, which was a pleasant walk during the day. It is a little noisy at night with occasional load vehicles passing by, but it settles about 1am. The accommodation is very spacious with a well-equipped kitchen. The washing machine and drier is such a bonus when travelling, as we were able to pack fewer clothes in the knowledge that we could wash them part way through our trip. Washing capsules and conditioner sheets were provided. Parking was a little pricey, but worth it for the convenience and security. There is a Whike Foods store nearby, which meant we could take a break from eating out for a couple of evenings. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a nice place with comfortable rooms. I wish the pool had been open!
