This was our first stay in Japan - the reception desk was on the third floor and not brilliantly signed. We had arrived in early in the morning, and so were unable to check in to our room although we could leave our bags. The hotel has no seating area so we had no choice but to go out and explore. The hotel is in an area that feels quite corporate, but a short walk brings you to Shinjuku station.
