Handy to the station and great, friendly service.

The staff were very friendly and helped with the automated check in. There are lots of extras provided including a free soft drink every day, choice of extra pillows and donuts. The rooms are very small for two people but there is a big tv and a small lounge and fridge. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice.

We liked that it was close to Nagano Station and that we didn’t hear any traffic noise despite it being close to transportation hub. Staff was friendly and hotel room was clean. Will stay there again.

The New Nagano Hotel is very close to JR Nagano Station making it easy to plan for further exploratory trips using JR Pass and local bus tours etc from the JR Station. There are some wonderful restaurants in the immediate vicinity (especially if one is a seafood lover). Hotel well presented, clean, with efficient staff (the norm in Japan) who were friendly and helpful and spoke enough English to help me where necessary.

Ein einfaches Hotel in bester Lage; nahe am Bahnhof und dem Stadtkern. Das Einzelzimmer (mit Ausnahme vom Bett) und vor allem das Bad sind sehr klein, aber alles Nötige ist vorhanden. Und falls nicht, gibt es in der Lobby eine beeindruckende Auswahl an "amenities". Noch hervorzuheben sind das äußerst freundliche Personal am Empfang sowie der praktische Waschraum im obersten Stock.

Check-in was effortless, and the customer service was spotless. A complimentary drink of your choice from the vending machine, along with a donut and hot coffee or tea, was a fantastic touch. I love hotels that let you take as many amenities as you need, and this is one of them! Their products are POLA, which is a big plus. If you’re looking for a good Western breakfast, they offer a solid one. Another great perk is the free locker storage for your luggage. One small recommendation: they don’t provide humidifiers in the rooms, which is quite common in Japanese hotels. And connecting to a wifi can be a little bit dounting Overall, I would definitely choose to stay here again
