My wife and I stayed in the Residence Inn (family studio) for three nights in November 2025. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is ideally located, with a tram stop a couple of minutes away (#21), that takes you right into the center in about fifteen minutes. The hotel is close to the center but far enough away to be quiet. I was happy with the underground parking (€20/day) - no need to reserve as there are plenty of spaces. The room itself was spacious, very clean, with a very comfortable bed, and it had everything we needed. The furnishings seemed a bit dated for a Marriott, but we were happy with everything. The free breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices. All the hotel personnel we met were very helpful and friendly. All in all, it is a great place to stay when visiting Munich.

We stayed at this hotel to attend Oktoberfest and explore attractions in Munich. We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was comfortable, the breakfast was very good, we took advantage of the always-available hot chocolate, cappuccino and tea. We also really liked how close this location was to public transportation. Our room was quiet, and we got a good night's sleep every night.

Nice room, but it was very hot while we were in Munich. The air conditioning did not work. The front desk acknowledged this and sent up fans. The man who delivered them fiddled with the thermostat and claimed it had been fixed, but it was definitely not. The temperature in the room did not sink below 84 degrees. We tried opening the window in the early morning hours, but the traffic and train noises made it too loud to sleep. We ended up trying to use wet hand towels to stay cool. We informed management several times, but they did not offer us any response other than the fans.

A highly recommended hotel in a great location.

Lovely clean and modern hotel in a fabulous location. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Parking was secure and easy to use. Breakfast was also great. Public transport was available just outside the hotel. The surrounding area was safe and vibrant.
