River view nice, ample parking BUT 2od 3 rooms dirty (one front desk staff pretended it's clean - used towels and trash in bathroom and by the sink in main area. Front desk lady said she'll clean, while we went to dinner, but upon return light bulbs in main area ( above sink) and bathroom were out. Not even sure if linens were changed. Above one bed ceiling dripping slowly, bed on that side wet and a big old stain on the bed skirt. No one available to report that evening or next morning at check out. I called later at the front desk ( same lady as the evening before) to inquire about partial refund since quality was terrible for 180$ / night. She didn't care. Outside of building also looks long time neglected. No breakfast at all, only some cups and small bowls set out by the front desk, and tea/ water/ oatmeal packets, all in a dirty, dusty tray with dead insects. Terrible place would never come there again. Expedia should not offer it as an option.

The motel was right across from the lake we were going to. It was clean and very friendly. We even made friends with other people staying there while in the outside smoking section. I plan on staying there again when I go back next year.

Has potential, but I wouldn’t book again

The check in was fine and the woman at the reception seemed friendly, although she never mentioned anything about the WiFi code and there was no other information about it as all I was given was a key. The main problem was the room. It smelled heavily of chemicals, and I couldn’t identify the specific odor, although it didn’t seem to be a typical cleaning smell. I’m pretty sure it was insect repellent as I kept finding small ants in the bathroom area (only that area, but they were persistent) and I did not leave any food out. At any rate the smell was strong enough that my allergies kicked in and I had a tough time sleeping. I really think the owner just needs to seal the area where the pipes come into the bathroom sink and that would solve the ant problem, and as a result solve the smell problem. It’s a shame, because the room was otherwise clean, albeit older, and the bed was very comfortable. The motel is in a rural setting but the owner has flowers and put effort into keeping up the appearances. As a result of my experience, I’d probably look for a different place to stay next time, but I’ve definitely stayed in worse places.

We had a double queen on second floor. Spacious, clean and quiet. Great view of Soap Lake from the room. They also provide lots of grassy areas with tables to enjoy the view as well. Only "complaint" the bed was a little noisy and on the hard side. Will stay again when in town.

This property has retained its classic design elements inside and out, from the era when it was build, yet has been updated with renovations to look as if it was just built. The service was excellent, it was very clean and well equiped, and we'll definitely stay here again.
