Well designed and very clean / modern and within the pedestrian area of old Montreal for shopping, eating, and exploring. Be aware there are a few stairs to walk up, so those with limited mobility should consider this.

Wonderful Modern Loft in Old Montreal!

We loved the loft - excellent location in Old Montreal. Steps from shopping, dining, churches, museums. The room was spacious with an excellent bed, amazing shower, and perfectly functioning A/C that was also sonically unobtrusive (if you're a light sleeper like me, this is wonderful). We also liked the clean, modern decor.

Non stop boom-boom-boom from nearby restaurants' music... we were offered a higher loft, but the hassle to move didn't seem worth it. The location is in the heart of old Montreal, the lobby is nice. The bed was excellent. But if you are sensitive to noise, even low level volume but with persistent bass from noon to midnight, you may want to stay somewhere several blocks away.

The valets are excellent, lugging our two big pieces of luggage up several flights of stairs to our lofts. The loft was clean and spacious, close to all amenities Old Montreal has to offer. We walked everywhere. The neighborhood is right off a main area; however our room was quite protected from any noise. The front desk were friendly and courteous. I would stay at either the lofts or try their main hotel the next time I visit

We have stayed at Lofts du Vieux-Port on multiple occasions. On this occasion we were “upgraded” to the Premiere King Saint Paul in the Auberge due to a maintenance issue with the loft. Despite the short walk and stairs, we prefer the spacious Loft rooms but did appreciate the later check out time and convenience of the Auberge. As always the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay! The property is right in the thick of old Montreal, all food and fun things are a 1-5 minute walk. The staff were so kind, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. A few reviews mention noise but this was not an issue for us other than hearing some garbage trucks one night but that’s not the hotels fault. It was a bit hard to find the check in area but it’s in the restaurant at the google maps address. I definitely recommend the vallet service because it’s a very busy area with not much parking around so it’s worth the $ not to think about it. If we come back to old Montreal we will certainly stay at the lofts again

Fabulous location for our Montreal visit. Loved having a kitchen and access to laundry. The staff were very helpful with suggestions of places to explore and how to navigate the metro.

Amazing 3 night stay for my wife and myself 21st anniversary. Check in was flawless; greeted initially by the valet staff who directed us to reception.. a small walk to the lofts which was the center of everything… and I mean everything.. valet parked and brought you car to the lofts which was the best as driving and parking in old Monteal can be very frustrating. The lofts were beautifully designed.. very open and spacious.. clean and fully equipped with everything including a completely functional kitchen. We took our little dog which was great , saving on boarding. There was a lot of stairs however as we were on the sixth floor and no elevator but the walk was great for us. Staff was warm and courteous and always available when you need them. For the price point comparing location, amenities, customer service and size of the unit .. absolutely priceless!!

Great location in Old Port. Convenient to the metro. In the heart of major tourist area, so there was a little noise at night, one should be prepared for that. However, the off property lofts were very spacious, and the kitchenette proved to be a good amenity to our stay. We would choose this property again.

Check in was friendly and easy; it is at the Auberge hotel and they carried our luggage to the lofts across the street. We stayed in 706. Location was perfect for touring old town. Room was very clean but the furniture is getting tired. Stained sofa, big dip in mattress. We booked for kitchen and extra space and we received that. Good glasses and dishes. Wifi was spotty to non-existent. We had to use our data or hop on the steakhouse wifi. Also, if you are sensitive to noise, we had a family above us and the children sounded like running buffalo above. If you get lucky and have adults, you will just hear them walking across the floor but it’s manageable. If someone is loud it could ruin a stay. No street noise with the windows closed. We were out most of the time, but if I had to work in, I would have had to request a new room. For this reason, I would choose different accommodation next time unless they could guarantee a top floor.

Friendliest most helpful hospitality staff anywhere. The terrase on floor 5 is formidable with great good. Stayed in the lofts so you have to be able to climb stairs. Old Montreal rocks and wonderful atmosphere makes the stay memorable.

Almost perfect

This was our second time at this property. First time was in the main hotel on rue commune. This one was in a seperate building above the vieux port steakhouse. This time we were in the lofts. They are large with a fully stocked kitchen and sitting area. Issues were the bed was way too soft and lumpy. Definitely not my style. Shower was nice but would change temperature often making it less than comfortable. Overall a great stay but was not as nice as the main hotel.
