Place was very pretty! Lobby smelled like mold and mildew that we had to cover our noses! The wait for us to check in was too long! Dining was just ok and COLD! The buffet would be put out and it was cold! The only hot thing was the build your own omelet! Room service took almost 2 hours and was sooo cold! The staff was fantastic! Drink service at the pool could’ve been offered!

I had an unforgettable experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious with a wide variety of choices. The weather was great, although a bit windy. I highly recommend bringing swimming shoes due to the coral beach. The place was very clean, and everything was within walking distance. I appreciated having an adults-only area separate from the family section. There were plenty of activities for the kids, and the two large swimming pools were a bonus. We will definitely be back!

Average Stay

The resort is in good condition and the rooms are nice and comfortable. Many of the staff had average customer service. I visit Jamaica often and expected more, specifically related to customer service. The food at the buffett often ran out and we had to wait for staff to restock. I stayed on the adult only side and was expecting more adult entertainment. This place was dry at night! I came with a group and the location is not convenient. Due the weather back home we decided to extend our stay for 2 days. We attempted to change our transfer and they wanted us to pay again. Even though its shared transportation and buses come everyday and all day. The lady at the transportation desk was beyond rude and did not try to assist. She initially tried to say the bus was already dispatched to pick us up, and stated no bus was coming to the resort on our new checkout date. Again it's shared transportation and multiple buses come each day and we informed the resort the day before that we were staying. She didn't even try to call to ask for a new date. My point is: we paid an additional $1000+ for two additional days and we cant change our prepaid transfer. Also we were celebrating 4 Birthdays and we told we didnt need a reservation for a specific restaurant. Imagine us dressing up in all yellow and were told we need a reservation. I will say Samantha at the front desk had great customer service and probably the reason it was not rated lower. Augusta the Guest Service Manager was Great

My stay at Ocean Eden was memorable. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is due to a few concerns. Restaurant service was stellar! Beautiful amentities- no outdoor hotub! 1st- the first day I needed assistance with a faulty tub stopper, my dead bolt on my entry door was malfunctioning and my patio door lock was giving a hard time as well. I can say that the staff were happy to come and assist with these issues however, my tub was not rectified until Day 3. 2nd, I experienced a less than tranquil experience at the Spa. In the middle of my service, I requested to leave, that I paid $240 usd in advance for, due to the clinician handling me rough physically with the scrub, cold table, rushed services and made me feel invalidated and minimized when I spoke up to complain. I requested a manager and Maria was happy to help and rescheduled my services, I was reluctant initially, however, I gave the spa a 2nd chance. The spa delivered excellent service the next day. Lastly, there were small nuances such as no pool towels being available, and in room, not enough servers on the beach to take orders so guests don't have to walk a fair distance to retrieve water. What saved my trip was butler, Omario. He was God send to my trip as I felt slightly forgotten about during my stay at Ocean but he was able to fill in the gaps with exceptional service. He engaged me in a survey that helped him understand my concerns and then rectified each of them. Ocean is lucky to have staff like him

I had never been to Jamaica before and after staying at Ocean Edens Bay I will definitely be back to this resort! We booked a swim up room for our trip, and I cannot recommend this enough! Staff always stopping as they walked by asking if everything was ok and asking if they could do anything. The weather during our stay was great we went 12-22 to 1-3. The food options were great I am not a big buffet goer, but I LOVED the options and quality of food. I can't wait to book my next stay!
