As beautiful as this resort looks, I would never return. The food was good and there were plenty of restaurant options, but the service and overall experience were extremely disappointing. My husband and I stayed on the adult side for our 10-year anniversary. At check-in, we were asked if we were celebrating anything and we mentioned our anniversary. They asked if we’d like a banner or something special, and we agreed—yet nothing was done. On our actual anniversary, we wanted a tour of the resort and were assigned a concierge, Kemoy, who was unprofessional. Instead of showing us the property, he brought us to an office where staff pushed an expensive “Privilege” upgrade and pressured us to commit to a $3k timeshare that same day. They wasted hours of our time, downplayed our room, and became rude when we declined. The following day at the beach, there were no towels anywhere. We came out of the water freezing, saw dirty towels scattered around, and no one would provide clean ones. We walked to the lobby dripping wet and waited nearly 20 minutes for a manager. He apologized for the lack of anniversary acknowledgment and sent champagne, fruit, and a banner—on the last night of our trip. We didn’t touch any of it. The staff was consistently unprofessional, unhelpful, and dismissive. Because of that, I will NEVER return. If you want great food and a much better experience, I recommend Dream Rose Montego Bay or the Grand Palladium. I wouldn’t stay at this resort ever again.

We had a horrible stay this past week at ocean Eden bay during the hurricane that passed in october. There was no real communication from the hotel staff if you were not reading signs that were on desks you would have never known what to prepare for. We were charged fees to stay although, we had no where to go airports shut down leaving us stranded on the island. Fees started the second the hurricane hit so we paid per person a night to sleep on the floor. After the hurricane hit there was no help from the staff and the director who came to address to pretend to be on our side making it seem like they were going to refund us for the charges made resulting in us sleeping on the floor apparently lied as the manager came and said he never said that. We were very upset cause we were asked constantly to be understanding with them and patient with them but they were not understanding with us they just wanted to continue to charge our cards. We were thankful to still have food and a bed but there was still glass outside our rooms throughout the resort. Alcoholic beverages were reinstated on the resort to distract from the continuous charges being made while stranded. WiFi was down due the hurricane a first responder was able to come to try and help us achieve flights for a way to return home. We are very thankful to him but as flights continued to cancel a store in the resort House of Diamonds also got a WiFi satellite signal only available to customers or those who used there ipads

So I could say German have a game Melissa the hotel did help us with food accommodations however I feel like they should’ve been more supportive one letting us know how to get flights or where should we fly out of? I feel like they left us to spend on our own And then on top of that they still asking for 175 per person extra and we in a hurricane situation and we trying to get home.

When we got to the resort it took them 2 hours to get us a room. We had to ask for blankets 5 times, 3 of them in person at the front desk before we got a blanket, It took a day and a half. Then our room flooded from the bathroom light fixtures. They did give us news rooms. The only reason the resort doesn’t get a lower score was because the bar tenders and waiters at all the many restaurants were amazing and caring.

We had an “ocean view” room. It wasn’t ocean view AT ALL. The room itself was nice 8/10. Always had hot water and yes the ac always worked. The food was meh. I had really high hopes for trying Jamaican food for the first time. It was definitely not what I expected. Over all the food 4/10. Drinks were terrible the only one who made really BOMB drinks was AMANDA WE LOVE YOU GIRL!!!! Other than that drinks 2/10. Now BEWARE if you’re a single lady or a group or 2 ladies the workers will try to get with you DAILY. One even followed us to our room. Luckily we never answered the door or phone calls!!! INSANE. Another thing is when we ordered room service 2 out of the 4 times the food never came, even though it said delivered .& on top of that some restaurants would randomly close so there was literally no food which was also very CRAZY. Honestly overall resort was 5/10. They can definitely do better.
