The air conditioner didn’t work. Rooms were dated. I didn’t receive sea view until the 3rd day, which I didn’t want to move all of my stuff. Stairways had dead roaches, which were there for several days.

We could not get reservations at Mikado, The Knife or Dolce Vita restaurants while we where there. The information on the app concerning entertainment did not always clearly provide information as to where the entertainment was taking place. For example if it said there would be a saxophonist it simply said "live music" without telling you where that was.

Overall the stay was great. The food was good, staff were fairly friendly and helpful! They definitely need to do some overall updating and fixes though… elevator shut down a few times, A/C stopped working for two days, and holes dripping water from some hallway ceilings. But the place was kept fairly tidy overall otherwise!

Great and very large Property! Loved walking the beach area everyday. We were at the Luxury but the Grand was connected and looked equally as nice. We had several awesome restaurants to choose from (fav was Dolce Vita). You have to make reservations & we found not taking a no was the way to make sure you got a reservation at the time you wanted. Buffets were great, as well. The staff (all of them) were so pleasant and very helpful. Very clean everywhere. Drinks were great and so glad they were aware of environment with the plates, glasses, etc. Beaches were always clean. Entertainment team was awesome. Daytime activities were fun. We had a garden view room - pro, we could still see the ocean, con was we saw the neighbors (no gardens) with dogs that would bark. Minor frustration is the inconsistency of the elevators working. I would definitely go back.

Overall it was a great week. A few people went out of their way to make sure you had everything you needed. It's a HUGE property, the biggest in Jamaica, and it shows as there are a lot of maintenance issues. Food was average with breakfast and jerk chicken at lunch being by far the best. Biggest complaint was the very negative attitude from the majority of the staff and drinks being extremely inconsistent. Serving a martini in a tiny plastic cup is not the quality I expected. Restaurants can be very hard to get into and take a long time. App was also very difficult to use and book things with. Spicy D is the Butler to find on day 1. He will totally take care of you!

This was a very nice resort..The food was great. I stayed on the luxury side which was very chilled. My only con was there isn't much outlets in the room to charge your phone..
